It was my first trip to Riga and my first stay at Red Nose. I like Red Nose because of its convenient location, lovely decoration, cleanliness, comfort bed etc. Red Nose provides travellers all the things we need such as kitchen, fridge, microwave. Even that it locates in the city center, it's very quiet. For my second trip to Riga,... More

We stayed here in July this year as a couple in a 4 dorm room. This hostel is clean, central, quiet, there is a small community kitchen on the 2nd floor. It is in a corridor between rooms so it is ackward for the people in the rooms next to the kitchen re noise and you taking up space as... More

As hostels come and go, this one is top notch. Location is ideal. Walking distance to anything you could need. Everything was very clean and well lit. Relatively quiet for Old Town in July. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms slightly larger than typical hostels. Community kitchen on second floor was handy. Would be nice to have a toilet separate from showers, but... More

Red Nose was ok for the few days I was there. My particular 4 bed dorm was right next to the kitchenette, so the noise of anybody moving about, talking (and dragging stools across the floor) was disruptive. Bathroom and kitchenette were kept clean, though and security was good. Reception also helpfully printed a reservation out for me, too. Step... More

We just needed a place to sleep with kids which would be also within a walking distance from main Old Riga attractions. We got it. This is probably ideal for backpackers though... The public parking nearby is expensive but there is a much cheaper parking place within walking distance.

We lived in a twin room. Very, very tiny. Unfortunately there was no wardrobe for coats. It was uncomfortable to hang coats near the wall after rainy day. Also walls in hostel are too thin and sometimes it was difficult to fall asleep when somebody was laughing in the other room. But inspitу of this Red nose is really great... More

We stayed on a private room with shared bathroom. Room was very small and on a 4th floor by stairs, but bathroom was very nice, big, extremely clean and only shared with 2 other rooms. Hot water was very good and towels cost only 1lv. We arrived on the with night and asked to the reception guy about it. His... More

We usually book hotels/hostel in advance, but this time we came to Riga without any any idea where to stay. We walked in red nose hostel and all the double bed privet rooms where taken and against our normal "policy" we decided to stay in 10 bed dorm, because it was empty and the owner of the hostel was so... Red Nose is located in heart of old town. Restaurants, bars and pubs a few steps away. Very clean and comfortable beds. I had a great sleep. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
