Appr 20 minutes walk from the old Town. The entrance to the hotel is actually not on Alexandra Caka iela, but on the crossing street Gertrudes iela. We spent a few minutes searching before we discovered this, together with our taxi-driver. The hotel reception is on the second floor, and the rooms on third and fourth floors - with no... More

And i am a journalist and a reporter who travels a lot, my experience with this hotel is the worst. No services at all, just a place to sleep. And be aware that there is no internet as they lie and make silly excuses about other services. The staff are so ignorant and this hotel should be closed.or at least... More

This hotel is perfect for the traveler who wants to explore the city, only using the room to sleep and shower. At around 40 USD a night, it definetely served its purpose. The room was fairly comfortable, although a bit noisy from the street below. The location is good, with easy walking distance to Freedom Monument, Opera House and Old... More

Recently stayed here on a weekend with friends. I have no idea when the photos of this hotel were taken, but it must have been several years ago. The entire place is dated, abused, dirty and broken. Thank god we were only using this a base to sleep and nothing more. The staff were on a par with most Latvians... More

We've been to many hotels in Riga over the last 7 years. but time and again now we keep coming back to this one. tram stop just one block away, bus stop just around the corner. Basic but good breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff. Great bar across the road... Alus Muiza ... Latvias best beers on draught to drink in... More

Location: Good. BTW:Entrance is really off Gertrude Street. Latvian Streets are subdivided into named sections unlike in most Western countries where the street name never changes along its length. If you can handle a 30-minute walk then this place gets you to all the sites of Riga with no need to use bus service. However, 15minute walk takes you to... More

We stayed in a three-bed room on the 4th floor and it was big and spacious, all equipment worked perfectly (TV, AC). Beds were a little too soft for me, but my friends found them just right. The bathroom is also very big, with a shower you can actually close, which I find a plus. Cleaning service was excellent. Breakfast... More

We were a family of 4 and stayed there for a week. Location is perfect (more or less in the middle of the city), rooms are comfy and service is great! Thanks and see you soon! Greetings from Oslo, Norway

After the look at reception we expected something bad, but when we went to our room we were pleasantly surprised. Our room and bathroom were very very clean. The location of the place is excellent - 15 minutes walk to the Central Station or Old town and pretty quiet at night, lots of shops around. Breakfast was nice - something... More
