found this pub one cold afternoon in riga!
1st of all im to old for backpacking (51)+wife (50) + im an electrician+the wife a shop assistant (we stopped else where)
BUT let me tell you how GREAT this little pub is .
the staff are all warm+welcoming ,they speak v/good english,and we spoke to a few different travellers each of the 3 day/nites we were there and everyone was polite ,friendly,interesting,
inga was serving most of the time+makes a mean cocktail,she also seves good measures of vodka,the laskus beer was v/good we had 2 beer+2 voka coke for 7 latt the cheapest in town !!
if you wanted help with anything inga or marius would answer or look up the net for you free
theres also an englishman James who is v/knowledgable on riga+a good character, he does 3hr walk trips around the city,+cycle trips,he also recomends good resturants(hospitalis)
