We had a flight the next morning at 6:30, and as we live 3 hours from Riga, we decided to stay the night there to avoid to wake-up at 1am. It was a good choice compared to the price we paid. The room is small but convenient, clean, the staff is friendly. The price was very good (we booked on... More

Nothing really new in my review compared to previous ones. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and is easily accessible by tram. The tram stop is 50 m away from the entrance of the hotel. Contrarily to what many people said, I did not find the neighborhood threatening. The staff is friendly. The rooms are tiny... More

You can give a chance to this hotel. The room was a bit small but clean and cozy. Unfortunately if you get a room to the first level you need to keep the curtains on since all the people that pass by category see in your room. Also you can hear from one room to another. The neiberhood is not... More

Firstly, our purpose for the trip was taking part in the World Choir Games. An organising company for the Games allocated this hotel to us and quoted a price. The cost of this hotel to me, personally, was a total rip off! Although clean and relatively new, this hotel is dramatically let down by the size of its poky rooms,... More

It is ridiculous that one should be threatened by a whopping€340 fine if they were to make noise past 11pm. The breakfast was limited and obviously made from the cheapest available, the orange juice was horrible, the bread was stale at times and the bacon was undercooked. The rooms were too small for two persons. I also encountered an empty... More

The hotel is in a street and surrounded by buildings and people who seems to have been taken out from a horror movie. I always tried to return before dark as it was just too scary to get back at night. The staff in the hotel were the most unpleasant people i've ever met. My seven year old daughter was... More

I stayed at Dodo Hotel for 9 days in July 2014. The hotel is overall a good one if you are looking for a low cost place top stay. The rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom, but you get boiling hot water in the shower so be careful! Your room is cleaned and towels are changed everyday so that... More

The hotel was good value at this price. Unfortunately the stay was spoilt by a stag do of 20 guys from Middlesborough. They drank 24 hours a days and all smoked at the entrance to the hotel. They were generally loud, lewd and abusive causing damage to the hotel and general atmosphere. I would avoid staying at this hotel again... More

I think it's better to be a very strong 2-star hotel, than a 4-star hotel with problems. Dodo Hotel does not pretend to be anything else - They are a 2-star hotel in a poorer neighbourhood in Riga, however, they are an excellent 2-star hotel. We stayed there with the team for the World Choir Games. At first I was... More
