If you just want a place to sleep and don't care about the location, go for it. The rooms are cheap and clean and the building is quite new. But when you want a more convenient location (closer to the old town) or want to have a "normal" sized room with a little comfort, then invest maybe 10 Eur more... More

Clean and quite modern hotel far from Rigas old city. Surroundings are old and terrible, but there is a big Mall in about 700 m from Dodo. Rooms are simple, clean with poor sound isolation but good wifi. Parking costs 6 euro, but you can park your car in the street, there is a lot of place.

Nice and tidy hotel with a friendly staff. Henrij was very friendly when checked us in. We stayed there only for one night and was pleased of what we got for the value of the money. Rooms are small but enough for two people. We paid only €32 which is ridicilous. The surrounding is not the best to walk during... More

We chose Dodo hotel to spend a lovely weekend in Riga at the very beginning of the summer 2015. We didn't expect much at such a modest price, however, we were not dsappointed. The room was compact but very clean. We also felt the need to ask for an extra blanket and the administrator at the recepition desk was very... More

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Old Riga or you can take a tram from across the road from the hotel which takes about 10 minutes. Dodo's located in a suburban neighbourhood with lots of wooden houses - whilst the area looks a little run down, I felt perfectly safe walking around. The hotel is good value for... More

A really nice hotel. Staff were very helpful and considerate. The €5 breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. The room was adequate for a short stay (longer and you need more clothing space). The bed was comfortable, but needed bigger pillows. The bathroom was perfect. We were lucky we read that there was no tea/coffee making facilities so took our... More

The hotel is in a really scruffy neighborhood but still fine and modern clean hotel. But the beds are only the spring mattress without the top part that you normally always have, so then the sheets slides around and its overall not comfortable. The description for the hotel says all room equipped with flat screen tv but don't mention its... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Arriving one nigh quite late after our flight, easily figured out the tram to hotel which was about 10 minutes from the centre and drops you off over the road from dodo. The area wasn't well lit at all though and wouldn't feel too safe on my own. The room itself was good, small... More

Spotlessly clean hotel. Small but very quiet room, exceptionally comfortable bed. instant hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast is extra but well worth the 5 euros- it's a buffet with cereals, bread, jams, sausage, ham, boiled eggs, beans, salad, cheese, pancakes, fruit, juice, teas, coffee etc.etc. and you can eat as much or little as you want. The staff are... More
