I am temporarily disabled & the staff were excellently helpful. But do not go to this hotel if you cannot do stairs as there are no lifts in any of the buildings! The food in both the restaurant & cafe was surprisingly good tho service a little slow. Great location 5mins walk from the beach, 8/9 mins walk to the... More

The hotel consists of 2 wooden jugend style buildings and is situated at the very heart of Latvian resort town Jurmala, opposite of Dzintary Concert Hall (where an International song contest New Wave had been held untill this year). The first building has reception, restaurant and several room, the second - rooms and SPA. The parking is between the two... More

I found this stay adequate and pleasant for the type of trip. Staff are attentive and rooms are well presented. Situated in a very nice area close to the beach. Nice breakfast and quiet night's sleep.

The location of Pegasa Pils is excellent. Could not be any better. The service is not bad, but far from world class. Definitely not four-star hotel by any western standards. They are trying, but it's not easy. Couldn't help with as simple tasks as dialing the USA - simply didn't work. The rooms are clean, but outdated, but it could... More

We wisited Jurmala, and walked on the streets, when we first find the beutiful building in the hart of Jurmala. We where lucky and get a room. Comfortable rooms, historical style, and a cosy athmosphere. The staff was service minded and helpfull. Food was classical in good Latvian style. The room was cleen and nice. Good location, close to the... More

Its a horrible hotel in heart of Jurmala. The only advantage is their location. Service is super bad, breakfast nothing special, prices are high. The rooms are far away from 4**** hotel. I highly dis recommend this hotel.

We found this hotel much better than it's reputation...Room was immaculate, very tidy. Wifi as working perfectly, and breakfast was quite ok ! Only minus was that the AC didn't work, and that the woman in the reception need to try smiling a bit more... The building it self is a piece of art, very beautiful, an old jugendstil Wood house. The... More

This hotel is located very close to Dzintare concert hall, and that's probably the only plus I could mention about this hotel. This hotel is advertised as 4-star, but don't believe it - the you can find a better room in some 3-stars hotels. The cheap-looking yellow vynil wallpapers and thin pillow and blanket were definitely not 4-star experience. Also... More

Stayed in Pegasa Pils with friends for one night in December 2011 while on a weekend in Riga. The place looks very attractive otside - like a wooden castle. Inside, it´s slightly run-down and Soviet-era style. Our room was on the second floor in the second building, across parking lot from the main / reception building. Room had bright orange... More

We found this hotel terrible. Tehe taxi-driver who took us there from Riga, told it was a "bad hotel", "very expencive anf BAD service" ...and she was so right! The staff is not friendly at all, and you really get the feeling they just want your money and thats it. We tried out the SPA treatments. The massage was ok,... More
