We arrived to this hotel today and can safely say it is nothing like the pictures you see! The website fails to mention it is under complete renovation.... So the lobby and bar area is the only nice/ beautiful area in the hotel...our rooms on the 4 th floor area terribly dated! Our fridge wasn't working and as I need... More

strange mix of modern renovated & ugly old-fashioned things.. the staff is indifirent to the guests & sometimes rude. Restaurant during the breakfast is overcrouded, the dishes are dirty. The pool is extremely dirty, only the sauna is ok, 'cause its new. The location is too far from Jurmala center - we had to use train or bus, its quite... More

The staff at the reception were a little indifferent and didn't speak English very well. The room was clean and seemed to have been renovated recently but the balcony was a bit worn-out. Breakfast was good. The best feature was the swimming pool with sauna. Also the gym seemed nice.

My wife and I had a package deal for this hotel. As soon as we walked through the doors we knew we had picked the right hotel. There was a very modern feel in reception and the bar had a art deco feel about it which all blended in nicely together. The girl at reception was very pleasant and she... More

The overlook of the hotel from the outside was rundown...soviet era, but the inside lobby and the whole ground floor had been upgraded to world class standard, the receptionists could not understand fluently english, but the younger employees were better. The room on the 6th floor had been renovated, stylish but a bit crammed. The restaurant had a separate section... More

Very basic hotel. Some rooms need to be renovated. Food in restourant is good and various. Far from centre of resort. Very nice panoramic view in sky bar. I recommend this hotel for conferences organisation or stay for business purposes.

We chose this hotel because of its price (2-3 times cheaper than others in Jurmala, f.ex. family room with 2 separate rooms, a balcony and a bath costs 63 EUR) and its location. We already knew that the hotel is partly renovated, but the majority of the rooms are still like in soviet era... The first, 3rd and 7th floors... More

We visited this hotel first time in the summer of 2013. We were very pleased. In 2014 when we visited the hotel again, it had went through some major restructuring in the lobby area and restaurant. The restaurant was renewed and there is also a lobby bar there. Very nice atmosphere and very helpful and service minded staff

The hotel is about 4km from town. On Sunday there is a train every 30 minutes to jurmala centre. Buses are very infrequent in Sunday. Reception told me every 10 minutes but that must be mid week. I did not see a bus and after waiting I walked back and it took more than one hour. A concrete block. Carpet... More

Very good location (near the sea cost), very friendly helpful staff. Nice swimming pool with sauna and another one outside for really hot weather... Very good continental breakfast with long hours 7.30-10.30 The location is very relaxed and quiet. Beware- there is no kettle in the room. Tap water has very unpleasant smell, so you need drinking water for cleaning... More
