Great location, great service. We walked in at the last moment and were in our room 10 minutes later. The breakfast was also way above expectation. The area is also fantastic, right in the center, with shops, the excellent castle and nightlife not far away.

Was in Cēsis over the weekend with family, enjoyed this simple yet clean hotel for the weekend, rooms are a good size, good beds. Excellent front desk staff. Will be back again. Free WIFI internet, a good central location for Cēsis

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, the location is great, and a very reasonable price. This is a great place to go to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I would happily stay here again.

Cesis is for the Castle and the National Park. It is a small town with little choice of accommodation, but this is a nice, old fashioned hotel, reminiscent of some of the smaller scottish hotels: plenty of atmosphere, heritage and welcome, but a bit thin on creature comforts. A reasonable restaurant, which is just as well as there is really... More

We enjoyed this hotel, it's not an exclusive one, but it's honest in the approach. We found all amenities we wish. In contrast to other reviews we found it quiet (even from our room in the third floor, which faced to the street). The room was quite large and in a good condition. Remarkable is the restaurant, which we can... More

A great building, lovely staircase, gorgeous setting and gardens, shame about the rooms and the breakfast. Stayed as a group on a Baltic tour (maybe in the cheapest rooms??) in the middle of August when the temps were around 24. The room was like a furnace and even though we got in quick as asked for a fan (thanks to... More

We stayed here as a group of 42 people. We had a reasonable if rather small room (204) which had a 1970s television set, a bar and good wifi. The bathroom had a tub and hot water. No lift and o help with baggage. We were told breakfast was at 7 a.m and although 30 or so of the 42... More

If you are traveler who looking for experience rather than luxuries - this place is for you! Placed directly in middle of beautiful, old (XIII century) countryside town of Cesis, once a battlefield between descendants of Crusaders and Russian tzar Ivan the Terrible this hotel provide good and cozy service. I sleep well.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely town. Spotlessly clean, fluent English spoken, good wifi. We had a large room with a huge bathroom (with window) overlooking a delicious park full of flowers and with a lovely lake with black swans. We received a warm welcome and would have gladly stayed longer - which wasn't possible because already fully booked. Great... More

Cesis is a small old town and this is a well located hotel. The rooms are large but beds are average at best. Considering there is no real competition this is a great place to stay at. TV is poor, there is no air-conditioning, and no elevator but you do not mind these for a short stay. I would gladly... More
