We stayed at St.Olav for one night and it was just terrible. The waals were so thin that you could hear clearly what others guests were talking and when they had sex. We came back to hotel at 1 am and try to sleep, but our room 130 was above the nightclub/bar. The music was so loud that we felt... More

The hotel is a big old building and most of the rooms are built around an inner court, which is quite charming. However, some rooms do not have windows at all, which happened to us. I really think they should inform about that when you book, because if is a bit claustrophobic. It happened to us, but fortunately they were... More

Only for your own risk. The hotel is "wanna be", but even they have underfloor heating in bathroom, the heating in room is not good working, or you can get the room in the basement, where you can hear all night long drunk people loudly enjoying themselves on the street in the opposite club. Kitshy, but nice are the hundreds... More

Positives first - this hotel gets top marks for location, just off the main square in the Old Town. Its old and quaint which is lovely. However because of this it isnt sound proofed and you can literally hear every step in the hallway, every door shutting and every movement from the guests upstaris to the point where you just... This hotel was lovely with its labyrinthine corridors and vintage atmosphere. The rooms were comfy and ours was equipped with a bathtub. At first it seemed as if we were the only residents, but at the relatively good breakfast we found out that there were indeed others. Also the price was very reasonable and location great, in the old town.

Stayed there for one night in the beginning of November. Absolutely wonderful old building renovated with skill and good taste. The room was clean and spacy enough for a weekend getaway, breakfast a more basic one but satisfactory enough. Overall recommendable BUT it is absolutely not from this world to combine a nice 500 years old environment with horrible disco/night... More

Visited Tallinn and the St Olav hotel on the recent England footy trip. We found the hotel to be conveniently placed in the old town, just a couple of minutes walk from the main squares. Rooms were warm, clean, some were a little quirky but in a pleasant way. Staff were helpful and made us feel very welcome. They were... More

Not great first impressions of this place. Arrived around 6-pm and had booked a treble room for x3 adults (separate beds was requested) Instead for x3 blokes we were given a double bed with but with x2 sets of sheets which made two poor mans single beds, and a pull out sofa bed. I had the sofa bed which was... More

For almost everything you can say about this place, the opposite is also true. Some parts of the hotel are gorgeous, others are horrendous. Some of the staff are extremely helpful, while some are truly useless. The location can't be beat. St. Olav is about a minute from the main square in the middle of the Old Town. You are... More
