For a double room at 70 Euros a night, it is small. The heater at the max setting isn't even warm to the touch. Door lock requires you to pull extremely hard to engage. Wifi signal shows one bar, windows calls it "limited", in reality, it does not work. The hotel restaurant's wifi works somewhat, but kicks you off every... More

I wholeheartedly agree with some of your reviewers that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The decor of the hotel is interesting, as the theme seems to be towards the classic historical age. I can't remember when I stayed in a hotel with no lifts! I travelled as a group and there were a number of elderly ladies... More

Hotell with lots of corridoors, you can get lost there ;) some off the rooms are simple and others are way over the top. Old furniture and atmosphere. Behind the old town so little walk from the ferries. Quiet rooms if you neigbour doens't yell ;)

I have been in dozens hotels in past few years but never as noisy as this one. From next room you could here people talking and snoring. But still the worst was that downstairs they have a night club which is open till about 6 am and also a karaoke bar. Breakfast was very simple but the in that the... More

Ideally placed in old town. Beware of 1st floor rooms (especially room 135) as music comes up from basement nightclub until early hours of the morning. However room was clean and tidy although curtains were tatty and mini bar refrigerator didn't work. Good breakfast spread but get in early! In general a no frills hotel but good location.

If you are looking for a standardized, bland hotel that could be anywhere in the world, then this is really not the place for you. If you are, however, looking for one that evokes the place in which you are staying, has a good balance between modern traveler requirements and local aesthetics then it is. Some area where a little... More

Well-located for the town. The hotel lay out was like a maze and no lift which wasn't ideal if you had heavy luggage to get to the top floor. Breakfast was very good. Room was adequate with large bathroom and comfortable beds. One slight concern (and baffllement) was that someone entered our room at approx. 3.30 am one night. Staff... More

The location of the hotel is superb and that's about the only positive thing about the place, I'm afraid. The lobby and staircase are dated and confusing, and to be honest, I'm not sure if they fulfill eg. fire regulations. I had heard that the courtyard rooms are quite nice and I have to say that in the addict, too,... More

The rooms here are very small and quite dated, we had to move rooms as we were placed next to the Karaoke bar under the hotel and didn't sleep until 5.30am Staff could be a little politer. Especially at reception and at breakfast. Food not great - Russian I think Potential health and safety as didn't see fire exits etc... More
