I must say, that I have never had that poor quality customer service like we had. Breakfast was ok and rooms were nice, but that's all. We were not wanted ( I think because we were from Finland), and they missguided us on purpose when we asked advice. St olav owns the bar downstairs, but don't bother go there; only... More

we chose this hotel because of its location in the old town it is a 5 minute walk to the station buses and trams and close to so many bars restaurants museums churches shops and clubs. we were in room 123 which was tucked away right at the back of the hotel behind a courtyard the room was lovely shower... Although we liked the room and the quaintness of the hotel our stay was marred because of the bad service at the reception. The man was barely civil, no please´s or thank you´s,no smiles. A very unpleasant person.

The rooms look medieval which attracted us to the hotel but its all a little " half cooked" in reality Needs decent bed and wooden flood to complete the look and feel. I Stayed in the courtyard section which must gave been lovely once. Now it's dominated by a huge conference building with a tin roof - so no rest... More

Pros - great location in Old Town, good breakfast buffet in elegant dining room, wifi in lobby, room was fairly spacious, hotel was charming in a worn way. Cons - young man at reception desk when I checked in ignored me at first then barely acknowledged me. Very hot in Tallinn and there was neither AC nor a fan. There... More

Wonderful location tucked away on a charming street near the puppet theatre and history museum. The staff were charming and helpful. The hotel was busy but the breakfast buffet was well stocked and staff were quick to refresh the coffee when it ran out. Particularly enjoyed the water with berry leaves, fruit and lemons. The atmosphere in the dining room... More

The location of hotel is great to explore Tallin. Price including breakfast is one of the best you cand find in this area. Breakfast is good with variety of products. You only have to know that this is an old and historical building without lift and with narrow stairs and hall. For young people is OK but for other people... More

Our family (2+2) stayed here for two nights. We liked the Hotel a lot: it definitely is not basic or standard place to stay. We had room in the ground floor in the garden and it was nice and quiet. Since it is a historical building, the history also shows in some places. The rooms were clean and unique -... More

St. Olav is perfectly located for a stay in the Old Town. People are helpful, and the rooms are clean. The buildings have their own charm especially if you like twists and turns to find your room. The breakfast is good as well. It is a touch expensive, but if you want to stay in a historic spot from which... More

To sum it up here rightaway, I simply do not recommend this hotel. The hotel is well located, reasonably new and tidy. That's what's good about it. The serious problem is the user experience that sucks. An example: we were given a ground floor room. I'm experienced enough traveler to avoid these because normally there's a high risk for all...
