Not a very good experience. No wifi in the room. When asked to reception they answered: sometime happens! No possibility to get a coffe if you have an early awakenings! I had to go a gas station 300 meters far from the hotel at 3:00 in the morning! To avoid

The rooms do not have air conditioning, which is probably not an issue for Tallinn on almost every occasion, except I visited during a heatwave. That said, although the rooms were uncomfortably hot, they were not unbearably so. Otherwise, I found the hotel well-priced, in a good location and perfectly acceptable. The staff were courteous and helpful and I would... More

Good location, nice staff. Our room had a sauna, working perfectly, it was very nice after a cold day. wifi not working in the rooms, you have to go to the lobby. The furniture could be a little better looking and confortable. (for me anyway).

We chose this hotel because we needed a cheap one night stay. Our room (on the second floor) was basic, a little dated, and reasonably clean. However, there was an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke in our room. The mini bar/fridge didn't work. We arrived early, and left our luggage there safely until we could check in. If you are... Stayed here for 3 nights from 16 September. Very good hotel for the price. Large room with large en suite. Bit 70s style but clean. Housekeeping daily. Reception brisk but efficient. Had breakfast at the popular Berlin restaurant - good for €7.50.TV in the room a bit dated but it worked! And the excellent wi-fi more than makes up. Excellent... More

I was there one a comfrans and was staying for two night. The room are bigger then in many other hotels I have been to and the beds are good. There is one thing you have to think about if you don't smoke or are allergic, the room on the first floor and some on the sixth floor are smoke... More

Bed bugs in the bed, and pubic hairs in the bathtub. Need I say more? Staff less than helpful. I was sent there by the tourist Office in the train station, who booked through booking.com, and it was terribly disappointing!

We stayed for a week in July. Reception staff was polite, but not friendly. Room decore was pretty bad, there was no wi-fi in our room, there was no air-con, but the bathroom was decent. Location is very good though, near everything: shopping, sightseeing and nightlife. Next time staying in another hotel.

I really really don't want to write bad reviews... I actually discussed with my husband whether Metropol really deserved any more than two stars and the reason I give it two really is the (positive) fact that we stayed Sun-Mon night. The hotel is quite well located, halfway between the harbour and the Old Town, so handy for those taking... More

The Metropol hotel is located just outside the old centre of Tallinn. I went there with two friends so we received a double room with a sleeper chair. The room, the shower and the beds were OK, but we decided to take turns on the sleeper chair because after one night on the sleeper chair you were (literally) broken. We... More
