Tallinn is a beautiful place and TB is a great place to see it from. The gang are friendly, helpful and always ready to join in the fun (particularly the beer pong!). The rooms are clean, well set out and comfortable and the communal meeting area has a PC available for guests, free wifi, drinks and a guitar. There are... More

Haha, yeah that sounds funny, I know. I arrived to late, because the hostel was fully booked. But the English guy at the reception was such a nice one that I have to give you 5 points for beeing the friendlist guy of the week :D And all the people I met later said it's a great hostel, so there... I stayed at Tallinn Backpackers two separate times on my holiday because the staff are awesome! I found that this helps break the ice between yourself and other backpackers so it becomes much easier to make friends :D They're awesome, I definitely recommend checking in there!

Tallinn was the first solo trip I ever took and I was slightly nervous about it. I was there to research the city for an article I was writing. I arrived after a very early morning flight and was absolutely exhausted and really not excited at all about being there. However as soon as I walked through the doors of... More

The entire crew at Tallinn backpackers create an amazing environment for their nomadic guests. A real homey feel (shoes off at the front door had me feeling like I was visiting a family home) The common area/ reception is the hub of action, with great seating space & very affordable beverages which will get you in the mood the insane... I was just passing through on my cycle adventure across Europe and needed a place to stay for a couple nights. However, I managed to extend my stay twice... The guys who work there are great - welcoming and relaxed. They let me store my bike in the common room which was ace. In fact I think I spent most... More

Ran by a mixture of expats from various English speaking countries this hostel has a 'happy' atmosphere. The Australian welcoming people on the day I arrived was in particular very enthusiastic about talking us through the city map and was very helpful. Though not modern the hostel was very clean and it was very well located inside the city walls-... More

This is a perfect hostel for solo or small groups. Located in the old town and near to almost everything you'd like to see, the hostel has a fun and relaxed atmosphere and the staff always look to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay.

I only stayed here for three nights but it really was a fantastic hostel.. didn't want to leave! Dorms were cheap, clean and spacious and had the best bathroom ever.. the kitchen was also handy! The location is in a quiet area but is super close (5/10 min walk) to Tallinn's old town and all the sights. The staff were... More

Tallinn Backpackers is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. They are conveniently located in the old town, pretty much everything is within a 10 minute walk. I've seen some reviews saying this is a party hostel, and while this may have been the case in the past, their quiet time is now 11pm (as of april 2014,... More
