Overall, for what we paid I think it was a decent room, and the location is definitely in great proximity to the old town. The building itself is a landmark by Eliel Saarinen for architecture buffs. The room was basic. The blinds let a lot of light in, and there was a streetlight right outside the window. A big old... More

My older teenage kids stayed here for three nights. It was clean and a great location. My husband and I stayed at a fancier nearby hotel but when I saw this one I was sorry we did not stay here too. My kids had a private twin room (just the two of them) and a bathroom down the hall. Very... More

The building lacks charm, but Tallinn itself has so much charm that I can't complain. The location is awesome. Turn the corner and you are in the old town. Cross the street (maybe two streets) and you are at the opera. The room was basic, but clean and in good repair. I didn't notice noise from the street or the... More

This hotel was a disappointment. After checking in, we walked in the room which was missing half the blinds on the windows and one of the two beds had no mattress cover. The blinds that were on the window were nearly transparent. The rooms are against a noisy road. The result was noise and bright light in the room most... More

The city guesthouse has a perfect location to the Old Town. A guide book mentioned the paper thin walls, they exist. So it can be a bit noisy with guest returning late or leaving early. I would stay here again, its excellent value and excellent location.

Amazing location less than 2 minutes walk from Viru Gate and entrance to UNESCO Tallinn Old Town. Excellent budget accommodation but there are lots of steps to negotiate just to get to the first floor and even more to get to reception and lots of noise from passing trams on main Parnu Highway. My room was very basic and clean... More

This place has a wide range of rooms some of which are quite basic, others are a bit more plush, but the price varies accordingly and you get what you pay for. I stayed here for a total of 6 nights, first in a block of 5 and then for one night before flying back to London. For the first... More

I stayed here twice over 4 days at the end of June 2007. Ok, its in a old office block but thats the only bad part. Right on the edge of the old town, 30seconds and your in the old town. I had room 54 which was massive!! and room 53 half the size of 54. Used the shared bathrooms... More
