We spent 7 days in the Kalev Spa Hotel in June 2009. The main reason for choosing this hotel is its swimming pool of 50 meter length. It's the thing I like best about this hotel. Guests have free access to the swimming pool. It's clean and never too crowded. I like the fitness center too. There's free internet connection... more

Simple and stylish room, huge bathroom and very friendly service made this a pleasant stay, but the excellent indoor Olympic pool (heated, but not too much and so many lanes that other swimmers were not a problem) was the clincher. The breakfast was pleasant and staff were generally helpful, including let me and a friend who had stayed elsewhere store... more

+ Excellent view over the Old Town in some of the rooms. + Overal cleanliness, new furniture. + Friendly stuff. Fast check-in and check-out. - Only cable Internet in the rooms (no Wi-Fi). But cable is provided for free. - No slippers were available for several days, so we had to buy our own. - Uncomfortable pillows. more

I am a Spaniard who lives in Tallinn, and I have been sending clients to this hotel and visiting the swimming pool for more than a year. No more. Some clients had complained about night noises in the corridors, but I had always explained that this can happen in any hotel. However, today I was expelled from the swimming pool... more

My friends and I went on a weekend trip to Tallinn and decided to stay at the Kalev due to the close proximity to the old town and the spa facilities. Upon arrival at 10 PM, we were informed that our hotel was overbooked and that we were bumped over to a different hotel for 2 of the nights we... more

Great Value - A very clean, modern tidy hotel with fairly large room, lovely views, adequet bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and a comfy bed. And friendly, helpful staff too. Excellent Location - Located right on the edge of the old town, allowing you to wander through to the main square for the Christmas markets, find good restaurants nearby for... more

We booked the hotel for winter holidays, to relax in spa and explore Tallinn. The hotel is new, rooms are rather fashionable and impressive. All room amenities are ok, TV, mini bar, fridge, safe etc all worked without any problems. All the Kalev hotel guests get free admission to Kalev Waterpark (located at the same building)- it is one of... more

This is indeed a hotel attached to a spa, and the spa is primarily an Olympic, 50-m pool just on the outside of the walls of Old Tallinn. It is a great place to stay - for a fairly moderate price - in a fairly good location of Tallinn, and frequent, free and convenient lap-swimming, sauna, and whirlpools will be... more

Though I wasn't a guest at the hotel itself, I've been to the Spa several times now for my weekend trips to Tallinn. My first experience was so good I decided to become a repeat customer, but my last experience pretty much ruined my impression of the place. I made an appointment over the phone with a specific masseuse. I... more

Originally tried to book Mihkli but was fully booked. (lucky for us) Paid slightly more for the Uniquestay Tallinn but then on arrival find we had been changed to Kalev Spa. We had 3 twin rooms all functional but quite small but for £126 per room for 3 nights incl breakfast was good rate. The biggest bonus of this hotel... more
