Just spent 3 nights staying at the Merchant's House Hotel. Have been in Tallinn before on business but this first time on a holiday break and wanted somewhere central. The staff were lovely, the room spacious, clean, comfortable, tastefull decor and a very comfortable bed. Overall I'd say this is a great place to stay in the old city centre... More

This hotel is in Old Town in a small very old building. The staff at reception are really nice, friendly and effective. I had a room upstairs across the old courtyard. The room was a bit too luminous for me but otherwise OK. WiFi was good. TV set is a bit old but channel selection is fine. Bathroom is big... More

My girlfriend and me really enjoyed our stay at Merchants House Hotel. Maybe it was the fact that it was low tourist season but we were treated really well. We were upgraded to a really romantic suite so that was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and were helpful in recommending places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The... More

This was a romantic gettaway for us, so I wanted something a bit nicer then my usuall "how cheap am I willing to live". This hotell won mostly because it was in the Old Town, and because the pics from the bathrooms had a tub. And I really wanted a tub. The room was nice, we just had the standard,... More

We stayed here as a couple the weekend of the 20th feb 2015. The hotel is in a great location next to the square. All the sights are within easy walking distance. Our room was upstairs across a courtyard and was really comfortable. The bed was comfy, spotlessly clean rooms and with all the amenities you could want. Mini bar,... More

The Merchants House Hotel is a must for those visiting Estonia. Tallinn the capital and here is the most northern of the Baltics. Within easy reach from the Airport via taxi or bus. Upon entering small reception with the biggest warm welcome. Off the reception area is a bar great selections of drinks cocktails. Nice blue lighting seating area. Downstairs... More

I booked this hotel for myself and two colleagues. The hotel is in the historical 13th century old city. The hotel is the old merchants house its bursting with character and charm. All the rooms are set in a old cobbled courtyard. All the rooms have a unique design very stylish and very welcoming. The GM Rob it's a real... More

This location is probably the best in Tallinn for a hotel - just 1 min away from the main square in the old town and also 1 min away from rataskaevu 16, the no 1 rated restaurant on tripadvisor (with good reason, definitely worth a visit!)! Also, the reception staff were really kind and friendly, and the room was so... More

The rooms are very comfortable and of a reasonable size. We have stayed there in the summer and the winter and on each occasion our room has been at a comfortable temperature. Because of the age of the building, there are stairs and no elevators. Which bearing in mind that this a heritage building and only certain things maybe added... More

Best things: location and service. Five stars for both. We slept one night in a standard room, which was comfortable and fairly cosy and pretty. Second night we were upgraded to the presidential suite because the room we were allocated to was too small for 3. Huge suite in 3 floors, would comfortably accommodate 6 people. Sauna did not work... More
