This hotel has a great location just inside of the old town wall. If you're coming from the ferry it is easy to walk there. The hotel itself is quite nice, but the rooms are tiny. However, Ok for one or two nights stand. There seemed to be some problems with service related to paying by credit cards etc. and... More

Came to the hotel in July 2015. First we were adressed to park our car ~1,5 km away from the hotel. Too risky to stay on the street and the hotel have no parking garage deals. We got a room in the basement. Room number 002!!! It was so old and ugly that the charged amount was amazing! Never been... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking your time to review our hotel. It is unfortunate that your experience wasn't as pleasant but I took the time to deal with you case and wanted to address some of the issues. Surely we have many different room types in the hotel and the ones on the ground floor are some... More

So you pay extra for the ovation and the ambience however you get an old hotel. Rooms were on the small side and not the most modern. Tiny bathroom that could use a renovation. Breakfast was fine although the tiny Russian restaurant on remises can get crowded. Not sure what they do in high season. Parkin is expensive however they... More

A very pleasant, clean little hotel. The rooms are very small so if your idea of a good holiday is watching BBC World News all day in a big bedroom then you'll be disappointed. But for everyone else who just needs a nice clean place to sleep, you won't be disappointed.

Overall the experience was positive but the room was tiny, ok for one way too small for two. Good shower, plenty of hot water and pressure. Small bathroom. Flat screen TV with many european channels and languages. An opening window, quiet at night and comfortable bed. Multi-lingual friendly staff. Good value in old town.

I booked this hotel via Expedia and had four nights there. The first night we were in a twin room but I asked to be moved. I had to wait until the next night because the hotel was full but the staff were helpful and attentive. The rooms were on the small side but the bathrooms were a good size.... More

The hotel was clean, but our room was small. Room was otherwise ok, but there wasn't any shampoo or hair dryer. Breakfast would have been okay, but there was always something missing. It was either plates, coffee, milk, bread etc.

I liked the hotel because it is not brand new ("plastic") and has some charm. Don't expect too much though. We got a little bit better room with a small balcony facing a quite a busy road. The room was quiet still. Everything in the room worked well. Hotel staff was friendly. The only downside really was the breakfast! Not... More

When starting to work in Estonia in 1990 we rented an office in Lai Street 49. The building has been converted into a hotel and the changes have been to the better for the building. The room I got vas rather small and with a small but well functioning bathroom. More than enough if you want to catch a few... More

The hotel is just at the edge of the old town and a short walk to the town square. There are plenty of bars and eating places. The twin room was very small - the bed was comfortable but small and there was only about 15 inches between the beds. The toilet/shower room was very very small - I had... More
