Cheap hotel in the city center, for those who do not have high expectations for comfort + Good breakfast - Wi-fi did not work, which is unforgivable in a city that advertises itself as the most wired city in Europe. Thin walls, as a result of neighborhood activities are better heard on the negotiations in the room. Can not say... More

(I just joined so this experience dates to June 2014). This was a good choice for us two students to stay in for one night. Worn- yes, but sheets were clean and nice, as well as the bathroom though tiles in our room were dark so smudges not so detectible. Quiet because of the location a walk from the centre.... More

First impressions was the place was old and very basic however the hotel was clean and good for the budget traveller. Walking distance into the old town (10-15mins) and also close to the Ferry terminal. The receptionist per ordered me a taxi to pick me up at 6.30am - cost only 3Euro to get to the Ferry terminal. To get... More

I have been traveling for several weeks and to make the $$ last, I have chosen 3* (less than that is a mistake) or better properties. Most are very small rooms with twin beds and "shared" (the definition of this varies) facilities. This property is well located a short walk to the UNESCO Old Town and Park. Clean with friendly... I went here with my girlfriend, and we were kinda afraid that the place would be a bit dirty. When we checked in and went to the room, our attitude changed. We saw that the place was old and had seen a lot of years, but it wasn't dirty. The sheets, floor and bathroom were all clean. The room was... More

Nice, little hotel in a surroundings of condos. A calm street by the hotel do not cause any headache in a form of nightly noise. Hotel do not have an elevator. Rooms seem to be a bit old fashioned but they are clean and the linen is in my point of view in very good shape. What we didn't find... More

Breakfast was included and was good. A lot of choices. Staff were freidnly and helpful even called us a cab. If you want... More

I would not say that it was my best stay at a hotel ever, but it was extremely nice in a way. The hotel is located in a 10-minute walk from the Old Town, which is quite far for Tallinn, but it’s perfect if you have to visit university buildings in Narva mnt. There is a supermarket and several bars... More

Spent a weekend here in January. The location was very good, a five-minute walk from the harbour and around 20 minutes from the city center. Breakfast was excellent for a hotel of this price. The room was nice. Nothing fancy, but fans of Aki Kaurismäki's films will enjoy sipping a vodka in the small archaic side room. The service was... More

Hotel Dorell is only a 10 minute walk from the old town, and basically seems to be a Soviet apartment block converted into a hotel, which is no real problem, except that there are other Soviet apartment blocks surrounding it, which are still functioning as apartment blocks. This didn't bother me too much, but could make others a bit nervous... More
