I absolutely loved the charm of the hotel. Great room, extremely clean, and has lots of old town character. The location was ideal! Located inside old town, walking distance from everything. Loved the bakery across the cobble street. Great experience!

I loved this place. It couldn't be better located as a base to explore the Old Town and is also really close to the railway station for day trip to beautiful Tartu. Rooms very comfortable if a bit stuffy. It seems the whole of Estonia puts the heating on in September although it was 20 degrees! Windows open though Lovely... More

Positives On arriving it is hard not be charmed by the hotel on the outside and the inside. The rooms are also very charming. The location is fantastic in terms of getting around being just at the bottom of the hill in the Old Town close to stores, the train station and restaurant. The beds are very comfy. The staff... The big deal here is the location. Few hotels in Tallinn are as close to Old Town as this one -- steps away. All the attractions: climb up to the right to get to the Toompea upper town, with its Russian Orthodox cathedral and neighboring Dome spire you can climb to the top of, for a fantastic view of Tallinn... Old building close to the ramparts, with all usual conveniences including two very tight parking spaces in the courtyard. Room was smallish and quirky (no night table or reading light on one side of the bed), but not without charm. Buffet breakfast OK, a pleasant stay overall (good rather than very good, but better than average).

Our room was pleasant and the hotel modern and comfortable and placed conveniently within the city walls, near the entrace to the high city area and the main square. Also near to the railway station. The breakfasts were incredible. Tallinn is such a gem of a place and this nice hotel just the place to enjoy

On the quiet street, in the Old Town Tallinn, near the train station and the picturesque Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Old but elegant hotel with lots of charm. Our stylish room, quite spacious included twin beds, antique writing desk, wardrobe and lovely view of the Old Town. Large bathroom with fluffy bathrobe and toiletries. A good quality buffet breakfast with many... More

Stayed 5 nights for a work conference. Slept very well, staff were helpful although not friendly (typically Estonian I'm told), wide variety of breakfast choices, not crowded or noisy. It's just on the outer circle of the old town, so a bit tucked away but still excellent access to the old town. I rate it as a very good *three... More

We booked this hotel mainly for the location just inside the city walls so that the old town with all that it offers was easily accessible. This was a fine location for us; precisely fitted the criteria for our two day stay. The staff and service at the hotel were impeccable. All staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. The public... More

We booked this hotel because of the recommendation of Rick Steves and the relative good reviews on TripAdvisor. We should have looked harder. First impressions are important, but may well be misleading. Our first impressions of this hotel were actually quite good. The hotel has an almost perfect location, 10 minutes by foot from the train station, and a short... More
