Hotel is located in the old town of Tallinn and it is excellent. It is on a quiet street but still close to enough. Parking possible on yard - feels safe. Service in hotel was nice. Room was nice and you had all you need there. Only thing that dropped the judgement was the shower room, you could see mould... More

Why this hotel has so high rating?!? In TA there are 4* and in booking.com 8.6 ??? Why? Only for good location and clean room? I think this hotel is overrated. For 120€ or 150$ it possible to have better places in Tallinn. Yes, the location is great, and it is possible for 10€/24h to park a car. The car... More

The hotel is located just outside the city walls and is also handily located for transport links and the new shopping centres. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious but some of the room furniture is beginning to look rather tired. The staff members are very efficient, friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice is quite limited but the quality is good... More

We stayed for one night and wanted to be near the old city. We took a taxi from the bus terminal and arrived at the hotel's courtyard, which has plenty of parking. Staff were pleasant at check in. Our room was on the first floor(no lift). It was a large room which was a bit neglected but still had character... More

My husband and I stayed at the Taanillnna Hotel in December 2013 and had a wonderful time! The staff were friendly and always willing to help us with directions or suggestions, and the rooms are clean, rustic and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but filling, and the old world style of the hotel made us feel like we had entered another... More

Chose this hotel because it was in the heart of the city and as I am disabled I can not walk far . I e mailed the hotel beforehand as they have no lift and they gave our party ground floor rooms.the staff were first class , nothing was to much trouble. The staff recommended a variety of restaurants, all very... More

We stood here 2nights The best about this hotel is the parking area directly in front of the hotel. This is somewhat special in Tallinn old town, as there are almost no free parking possibilites The hotel itself, the rooms and service are just OK and nothing special But if you are with a car, it is worth to come... Nice room at front with amazing view of the walls. It was clean however the furnishings in room were a little shabby, but not terrible. Power of shower was not brilliant, but again was okay. Good wi-fi connection. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with really lovely bread.

I chose Taanilinna because of its location. Everything from the old town is close walking distance and if you want to get away from the 'tourist mini town', bus, tram and trolley are very near. I can't be overexcited about the breafkast and a tea/coffe water kettle in the room would be a plus point. The hotel is very quiet... More

Taanilinna is situated in Old Town in Tallinn. It's part of a historic building and decor is such. Rooms are small. And not well-kept. Not much amenities. Clean but doesn't give you a good feeling. Staff is always helpful. Breakfast is sub-par. Found crockery dirty & wet. So can avoid that.
