If you need a comfortable place, centrally located to the heart of Tallinn, look no further. The Palace hotel is a clean, upscale place to stay, without the upscale price. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly, and they all spoke impeccable English.

The hotel is a great hotel with a great service. Breakfast is varied and of quality. The bath tub is too high, what makes it difficult to go in and out, unless you are tall. Our room, on the top floor, did not have a window facing the city.

This hotel has great potential to become one of the most wanted places to spend the night in Tallinn. The room, service and especially the restaurant will give an outstanding experience, after bit fine tuning of the services. I'm looking forward this to happen.

I feel I owe this hotel a review as they made my stay so wonderful. Location is very good. Between old town and new part of town. The stuff was so friendly and down to earth… I hate it when I stay in a hotel and the stuff is arrogant… This was not the case with Palace. The room was... More

Hotels in Tallinn can be a bit hit and miss. However, the Palace was a great surprise. Exceptionally polite and efficient staff, clean rooms, free ipad in the room, good breakfasts, great sauna area downstairs. Even the wifi worked properly, and hotel wifi is usually awful. Here it was faster than by wired broadband in the UK! No complaints at... More

All the service was very friendly, the room was awesomely wonderful, the food amazing... dignified for 5 stars... when come back to Estonia, for sure it will be a place to stay! The place of the hotel, very close to the center, allows to go anywhere in really short time.

Great hotel quality after being fully renovated. Helpful and very pleasant staff (we laughed a lot together trying to find a decent restaurant opened on Sunday evening). Very tasty breakfast. If you avoid overpriced meals in the hotel lobby this is the best value for money in the Tallin you can get.

This hotel looks a bit boring from outside, but when you get in, it's great. Excellent service at the reception, especially the very polite, friendly and helpful young men! The room was decorated with taste and one had everything you need. Bathroom was fine with rain shower. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was ok, you had lot of choice. You are... More

Everything about this hotel was to my liking. This is supposedly the best hotel in the city which made me think it was going to be stiff and uncomfortable but it was not. The staff was accommodating and the room was just great. They personally delivered fresh chilled fruit to my room about fifteen minutes after arriving. With the windows... More

Although it seems to be quite the norm now I was still pleasantly surprised about the quality of service (even though I am estonian myself) - everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was placed in the disabled room which I assume is a bit different to the others hence my comments might not be fair. I prefer baths and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Palace is located next to Freedom Square in Tallinn. The building dates back to 1937 and represents one of the most interesting, glamorous and majestic buildings to have been given a total makeover. This business class hotel with 79 rooms has throughout its history been a true business card of Estonia. The corner stone of the building, located only a step away from the most representative square of the town, was finished in 1937, during the pre-war high period of the Republic of Estonia. Architect Elmar Lohk designed one of the most glamorous buildings in Tallinn and its majestic atmosphere specifically for a hotel that would represent Estonia at the highest possible level. Having acquired a completely new interior, the building continues its dignified course, traditionally remaining a modern lighthouse in the very heart of Tallinn by retaining its classic atmosphere, which is now combined with up-to-date interior design. The location of the hotel is excellent both for sightseeing in the town and for business travel. ... more   less
