After having spent a night at a great hotel in Helsinki the night before, the Reval Central was a bit of a step down. I'm always a firm believer of the saying "you get what you pay for". Unfortunately for us we arrived at the hotel only to be told that they had overbooked the hotel (by about 20 people) and we were chosen to be moved to their flagship hotel - Olumpia Hotel. Staff was nice and helpful Location is very nice 5-10 min walk to old town 10-15 min to train station Room was small, but modern.. bathroom sucked. the water pressure was low. Sink was very small. Great hotel. The price was excellent. Location was great. It was a 5 minute walk to Old Town. Tram stop was nearby. The breakfast was fine. I have stayed in Reval hotels in Latvia and i have to say in comparison this is by far the worse. The rooms are basic and unattractive,It is what it is i guess cheap but far from cheerful. I stayed here for four nights in august and this hotel really was in the perfect location to explore Tallin. the bus from the airport stops 2 mins walk away so you dont have to bother getting a overpriced taxi.
