City break with friend. Great location. Clean basic accommodation in an unusal converted quiet hotel. The corridors echo with movement of other residents but this is not offputting.Little bit eerie reminded me of the corridors in the hotel "The Shining"! Breakfast not wow factor but adequate. Staff helpful and friendly. Room was fine/good shower and comfortable. Overall good price and would... More

Lovely clean hotel, nice room and very well situated. Breakfast was ample, choice of cereal, fruit juice meats egg, porridge toast etc. It was more than enough to set you up for the day. Staff were helpful and the hotel dealt with my e-mail requests prior to arriving. My only suggestion to improve the experience would be for the hotel... More

Great location right in Old Town near Ausros Vartai, but just out of the way enough to be peaceful and quiet. Might be a bit hard to find if you don't know the area, as it's tucked away down a courtyard between St. Terese's church and the Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit. Single room was a little small, but... More

This charming hotel is an oasis of quiet calm in the centre of the old town An old convent, its tucked away in a private courtyard yet only a few metres away from restaurants and main sights. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the breakfast perfectly adequate if uninspired. My only faint criticism is that there are no tea... More

This hotel is operated out of the building that once housed Monks. The rooms are not large but are clean, neat and well maintained. The bathroom was well equipped and there was great water pressure. There isn't air conditioning but the building walls are 18" thick so the rooms don't get hot. We asked for a fan to move the... More

For a prolonged weekend, staying at this hotel, very affordable, very fiendly & service-minded staff, nice surroundings, close (walking distance) to almost everything. The hotel itself is a former monestary which lend the athmosphere of tranquility even though the most busy part of the city is withing a few 100 meter. Good value for money. Really liked it.

This renovated monastery provides straightforward accommodation in a great location. Its a large building with wide corridors so its a shock to find that the rooms are fairly small and those on the top (fourth) floor are in the roof space so some have sloping ceilings. However the bathrooms are very modern with plentiful hot water. Everything is very clean... More

This hotel is wonderful in all respects except one-- do NOT ask for their taxi service. We took a taxi to the Domus from the airport-- 3 Euros. We asked the hotel to arrange a taxi for us back to the airport -- 15 Euros. I asked why and they said, "That's the arrangement we have with the taxi company."... More

Remember that it is not a luxury hotel. Located in old monastery, rooms are arrenged in monks cells so small, simple but clean and comfortable. The most important that hotel has a perfect location in the heart of the city so if you want to visit it is perfect place. Hotel has private parking space. Nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately... The hotel, which is part of a former monastery that has been completely restored, is adjacent to St.Theresa's church and the Gate of Dawn (also chapel Our Lady of Dawn, a destination for pilgrims). I understood that part of the buildings are used by the catholic church, whilst one wing has been transformed into the Hotel Domus Maria. The hotel... More
