Our first surprise - on arrival, we were told we'd been upgraded. Don't know why, hotel obviously not overbooked. Suite absolutely fabulous size, bigger than my flat! All the previous reviews were right: Barbacan Hotel is a nice one, placed in the Old Town of Vilnius, just a few min. walking from everything in the city center. The location itself avoid any kind of noise due to traffic (the hotel is facing a very small street), and, expecially in the morning, it is nice to go outside... more

Barbacan is a clean, quiet, friendly, safe hotel just steps from the main street of old town but without the traffic and noise of more centrally-located hotels. I would definitely stay there again. more
