Firs of all, I'd like to say that Mikotel has a great location! It's near to central railway station and not so far (10 minutes) from historical part of town. Breakfast wasn't luxurious, but enough not to feel yourself hungry. Room was clean! I recommend to stay there for 1-2 nights. more

The hotel is not a hotel but serves as a place for the 1 night stay! Keep away from this place unless your are searching for this kind of adventure. We intended to stay 4 nights in Vilnius and although the lobby looked ok, the room we were given was horrible. It was dirty - particularly the carpet. The shower was very stained. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean so we stayed one night then found something else the next day. more

We were shocked bye the way the staff of Mikotel charged us for the room we had already paid for the night before.This seem to been an unwritten rule for this hotel and its staff. Mikotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.Receptionists are lazy, lying to you, trying to charge you extra, if you dont show them the official price they operate with in the official tourist magazine for Vilnius. Also they try to make you pay for one night extra, that is alredy paid for, if you don`t keep the reciep.... more

Had to pay upfront....not great in a "hotel", if you could call it that. Staff were surly and disinterested. We had no hot water for entire stay (2 nights) and no water at all on the morning of departure. Complained at reception and they couldn't give a damn to be frank. Basic, but clean, shower, WC in room but no lift to upper floors. The breakfast was only coffee/orange/bread/jam/youghart but what do you expect for the price.
