Assuming that most people's destination would be the "olde town", this hotel would be a very good walk . There are a variety of rooms, some with renovated bathrooms which are more modern. The rooms and ensuite bathroom are very clean. This appears to be a very old building and the decor represents the era. We arrived at a time when there was a "heat wave" and the rooms were very warm with no fans . Breakfast was fine.
The staff was very friendly, but un-informed. There is an internet that business travellers can use briefly...it is the hotel's only one.
If you want a place to sleep reasonably and especially if you have a car, save yourself some serious money and stay at this perfectly acceptable hotel.
