I thought the hotel was great it was better than expected but then I have stayed in a lot worse. The staff were so helpful completely going out of there way to get information about Poprad and the Tatras. Hotel Satel is one of the biggest hotel in Poprad. It is not a new one, but I can say I quite good. The most important thing is that it is clean and the personnel is very helpful. more

I have been to Slovakia 3 times and each time have stayed for a night at the hotel. The hotel is basic but clean. I had stayed in hotel Satel for 1 night. The hotel is not 3* at all. As I come from Poprad (left 12 years ago) I roughly do remember when they built the hotel. Middle 80's. They haven't changed anything since then. Rooms are ugly and dated, bathroom has seen better times too. But I have to say the staff... more
