A beautifully restored building close to the aquapark . We spent 2 nights here in a family room. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. There was a seating area with a sofa and chairs and an upstairs room which our children slept in . The room also had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The reception... More

This pension is a tastefully modernised old building in the centre of the old town, with some of the rooms (ours included) being barn conversions around the courtyard. Our superior double room turned out to be very large indeed, with a large double bed in a spacious room comprising bedroom, lounge with corner sofa and TV, with an adjacent kitchen/dining... More

I guess this is one of the most charming choices in Poprad, so i'll cut this very short. It has some good points and some bad points and i'll try to name them: Good points: Rooms: The rooms are not equal, i guess each one is different from the other, but all are really charming and they will give you... The building itself is a treat to visit - you feel transported into medieval times - and the staff gets big kudos for wonderful, warm hospitality. The facilities in this old, beautifully restored building in the medieval part of Poprad, called Spišska Sobota, are totally modern. Even Wi-Fi penetrates the thick stone walls! It is a wonderfully comfortable, interesting, hospitable... More

We stayed here one night on our way to the Low Tatras. We had a hard time finding the hotel and accidentally went to the wrong place (coincidentally there is a hotel called Penzion Saboto about one block away...). Once we finally found the right place, parking was a bit confusing. I do not recommend arriving at night time to... More

We've found penzion Sobota completely by chance, just walking in the very nice Spisska Sobota area. Just looking at the house from the square, you can't imagine how peaceful and beautyfull it is. So quite, so out of time. Everything is lovely. Of course do not expect 21st century comfort in the room, but just enjoy the place !

This place is prettier than the pictures and the town it sits in of Spisska Sobota is like stepping back in time! Such a great spot for a few days to experience Slovakia. However, the staff do not speak much, if any English. There is no do not disturb signs so the cleaner wakes you up every morning There is... More

This place is like from a fairy tale. It does look characteristic, not veeeery appealing from from but once you enter through the front door you find your self in a property shouting with character. The property originates in 16 th century and is kept in a historical style. there is several rooms in the main house and they are all... More

The Penzion Sabato was far and away the most individual hotel we stayed in on a motoring tour and is quite difficult to describe in words. A former merchant's house, it is located in a delightful village which is now part of Poprad. On arrival we were were warmly greeted and directions were given to the secure parkling area at... More

I have only had a dinner at the restaurant. Before which I was delighted with short walk around the city square of Spiska Sobota. It breathes the history of the region and the restaurant does not owe anything to the place. Very good meal and nice staff. It definitely left an inpression.
