Here on business for a week, I enjoyed the lovely surroundings, beautiful view from my room (No. 3), there was a small balcony with this room, and it was great to look at the mountains in the mornings. Wifi was fine, no fridge though The chef at the weekend wax superb, I think another chef worked during the week. My... More

I stayed here last night, unfortunately just for 1 night. Having booked on Hotels.com, I got an excellent rate of 60EUR including breakfast. The location is excellent, a 10 minute drive from the airport, 10EUR by taxi, and a 20 minute walk from Poprad City Centre where the bus and rail stations are with excellent links across Slovakia. The staff... More

The pension has 8 spacious rooms , each designed and furnished unique with good taste. Some of the rooms have fireplaces which can be used. The restaurant is very nice , with good food , friendly stuff. The breakfast is not that rich , but it's enough for a good day start, There is a private parking at the back... More

Every now and then one comes across a hotel that it so interesting that it worth going to that place just for the hotel. Penzion Sabato is one of these hotels. It is unique and charming. It is located in old Poprad - a village so perfect that it looks like a movie set or Disneyland. We were warmly greeted... More

A beautifully restored building close to the aquapark . We spent 2 nights here in a family room. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. There was a seating area with a sofa and chairs and an upstairs room which our children slept in . The room also had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The reception... More

This pension is a tastefully modernised old building in the centre of the old town, with some of the rooms (ours included) being barn conversions around the courtyard. Our superior double room turned out to be very large indeed, with a large double bed in a spacious room comprising bedroom, lounge with corner sofa and TV, with an adjacent kitchen/dining... More

I guess this is one of the most charming choices in Poprad, so i'll cut this very short. It has some good points and some bad points and i'll try to name them: Good points: Rooms: The rooms are not equal, i guess each one is different from the other, but all are really charming and they will give you... The building itself is a treat to visit - you feel transported into medieval times - and the staff gets big kudos for wonderful, warm hospitality. The facilities in this old, beautifully restored building in the medieval part of Poprad, called Spišska Sobota, are totally modern. Even Wi-Fi penetrates the thick stone walls! It is a wonderfully comfortable, interesting, hospitable... More

We stayed here one night on our way to the Low Tatras. We had a hard time finding the hotel and accidentally went to the wrong place (coincidentally there is a hotel called Penzion Saboto about one block away...). Once we finally found the right place, parking was a bit confusing. I do not recommend arriving at night time to... More

We've found penzion Sobota completely by chance, just walking in the very nice Spisska Sobota area. Just looking at the house from the square, you can't imagine how peaceful and beautyfull it is. So quite, so out of time. Everything is lovely. Of course do not expect 21st century comfort in the room, but just enjoy the place !
