Hotel itself has perfect location for a short stay in the city. We have stayed only over one night leaving very early in the morning. Our receptionist was very friendly and gave us all information needed. We were leaving very early in the morning, so she organized taxi and breakfast packages for us. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were... More

We have stayed in this hotel and there are some things which we didnt like. They have checkout at 10 a.m, not good quality of bed mattress, we have to ask for cold still water during the breakfast because there was none and TV with remote control didnt work well. Restaurant was closed what discussed us, because it looks very... More

Zulaty Dukat or the "gold Coin" Hotel is beautifully located in the heart of the old town of Kosice, bang in the middle of the walking zone. The hotel has limited parking & you need to inform them of your requirement in advance. Away from the main street, you need your GPS to take you to the hotel parking which... More

Stayed here for a few nights on a recent trip to Slovakia. This is a fantastic little place to stay if you plan on exploring the city being located in the heart of the pedestrianised area right next to the Cathedral and surrounded by bars and coffee shops. Hotel rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are well above... More

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was a little difficult to find by car, since it turned out the address was on Kosices"s principal pedestrian plaza with restaurants' umbrellas in front obscuring the purple-painted hotel facade. But once we got inside, we were deeply impressed with the "boutique hotel" look and the high quality of the rooms and bedding. The... More

I was pleasantly surprised during my stay at the Zlaty Dukat and by Kosice as a destination. The city feels more like a town and has plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants for most tastes. The hotel rooms are very nice and comfortable and the wine cellars are worth a visit by themselves. Visit the museum that shows almost 3000... More

A hotel located at the main square in Kosice - just meters away from the best places in town. Rooms are huge, bathrooms excellent. Room for improveemnt: TVs in the room are like laptop screens. You hear each step of your neighbour and the breakfast is really minimalistic. But these are not very irritating details and you get it for... More

It was a brief but excellent stay. I know this area well and this hotel gives you great access to the old centre. There is only limited parking so reserve in advance as getting to hotel is quite difficult if not in their garage. The cellar restaurant bar look great. Rooms are big and furnished reasonably well not 4 star... More

We have just stayed at Zlaty Dukat hotel over the weekend. We initially came to revisit Kosice after many years and the European Cultural Capital of the year affair was another motivator (however, we were mildly disappointed since no events took place during our stay...). Coming back to the hotel: we got a nice rate (EUR 60,-- per night/room including... More

Stayed in this hotel whilst in Kosice for a conference. Having had a good look at the website and the nice pictures, I was disappointed, the room was quite bare and there appeared to be a significant lack of light in my room. My colleagues also confirmed their rooms were also very dimly lit. Breakfast was a major let down... More
