Our best three star yet. Ask for room 14 - nice cross breeze. Breakfast is generous and they have a great private patio. Best shower too. Hot and pressure. Friendly English speaking service. An undiscovered gem in an underrated city!

I stayed there only one night during a short trip to Bratislava. Location is perfect at only few steps from the tower in a small and quite street. The hotel is located in very old building and is very well renovated and maintained. Everything is looking to be brand new. Isn't a big hotel (there are only around dozen of... More

The Hotel Michalska Brana is perfectly situated in the Old Town. From the cobbled stoned street out front you can view the Castle to the right and the 'Gate' to the left. It was within easy reach of the best pubs and restaurants in Bratislava. Additionally the amenities were modern and comfortable. It was a great place to relax after... More

This hotel has it all for a reasonable price. The location is great being close to public transport yet inside the old town walls close to the main street. The building is old and charming but newly renovated and very modern throughout. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine with an adequate continental spread including basic hot foods.... More

You can't beat this hotel for location and value. The hotel is the Old Town just inside St. Michael's Gate and steps away from the Venturska Michalska -- the main pedestrian shopping street. It is a fabulous location. The hotel was recently renovated and it has all the latest electronic upgrades. You can't beat the hotel for location or value.... More

This is a lovely hotel in a very 'chitty chitty bang bang' looking side street, in pedestrian only area of the old town. There are restaurants, bars, shopping and markets all in easy walking distance but the hotel still feels miles away from any hustle and bustle. With the castle a short distance from the hotel, we managed to pack... More

Super friendly and helpful staff, perfect location. Room was wonderful, clean, comfortable...I felt at home. The bed was soft with two giant pillows. I stayed in room 15 from Friday to Sunday. I heard some noise from the street but nothing that lasted all night into the wee hours of the morning. Very safe and secure although the ally leading... More

Stopped here for one night on whistle-stop tour of Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna. Friendly reception, comfy room with good minibar and happy to discover breakfast was included in the price I paid. Nothing especially worthy of note but would have no problem coming back to this hotel if in Bratislava again, and would happily recommend to friends and family.

The hotel sits on a quiet cobblestone street close to old town. We parked at a garage about five minutes away. We had to drag our luggage across the cobblestones and up a small incline to get to the hotel but there is an elevator for easy access to the upper floors. The rooms are modern and sleek but comfortable.... More

Located on a pedestrian or walking street along the old town square .The hotel is an old building but well renovated. Our room was clean and nice. The reception personnel were very helpful. Breakfast was simple and good.If I return to Bratislava defiantly I will not even consider any other hotel.
