Cheap, safe, well located in the city centre, this hostel is exactly what is required for inter railers. Good helpful staff, walking distance from everything and a stone throws away from the train station. Beds are average but given the prices I was not expecting more.

I spent a weekend at the Patio, which is centrally located in Bratislava as can be. I found some staff members to not want to be bothered about simple things to them, but important to their guests - like, lockers being faulty. That said, the hostel does what it says on the tin. Equally, I doubt there are many to... More

The room was big, clean, bright and quiet. There's a small kitchen and a fridge that you can use. The hostel is in a very good position, near the city centre and not far away from the bus station. It also has a nice common room with computers at your disposal for free, and the staff is really friendly. Only... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. We paid for a 10 bed mixed dorm which was split into two rooms, so really our room was 6 beds, and on no night that we stayed was every bed taken, so it felt really private. Comfy beds, good shower pressure (and warm!), and friendly, helpful staff. The staff member at the downstairs attached... More

This is a big hostel in the city center with fair prices. Downstairs there's a bar with cheap drinks and at the checkin you get a welcome beer. The checkin and checkout process wasvreally quick, the staff was nice.

Great location, furnitures are brand new, kind and helpfull service. There is also a parking (that's very important because in neighbourhood there is no place to leave a car). Instead of room numberes there are picutres on the doors and keys.

well the staff is very rude, not only one of them, but more, if you are 9 minutes late from checking out/extending the stay they will follow you to the bathroom/halls as if you are a thief. The hostel is so famous but i do not understand why, the bathrooms are open to the showers almost and its very hard... More

Passing by Bratislava me and 2 other friends of mine decided to book a 5 people flat at Patio hostel for a couple of nights. The whole flat was very cheap and allowed some more privacy (we had a kitched inside it). I cannot give a 5-stars only because common life in the hostel was very poor. We spent most... More

The hostel is in a good location of the city. It is fairly near every monument so you don't really need to use the bus or tram. The rooms are comfortable and they do provide a free towel borrow. There is also a fridge in each floor for the guests to put their stuff and a common room with a... More

Patio Hostel has a great location for its price. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and so are the toilets (just maybe, there should be more of them, but it's okay the way it is). The staff is really friendly and kind. So, if you're coming with more than 5 or 6 friends, this is the right place for you!
