The hotel is unusually quirky, but also needs a refurbishing and some basic maintenance. For example, the shower was cold at times, and the windows were hard to close/open. The upper floor has a weird smell. But at the same time it had an interesting artsy feel to it, and the staff were very nice when asked. They just don't... More

We stayed at Hotel Galeria for one night. I was pretty happy to have found a hotel that looked and felt "special" for our short stay in Bratislava. We all liked the soul of the hotel, and thought that it must have been amazing when it was first decorated; and it could be amazing again if fixed up a little.... More

I tried to make an online booking via e-mail because the booking form on their website was not working, but the reply was a bit late so we came to the hotel without reservation and managed to get a beautiful and spacious triple room. The receptionist was extremely pleasant, she gave us maps of the city and direction to where... More

the Hotel/Hostel is VERY nice and colourful!! it's really at a 5-minutes-walk from the station, just mind to find the right path: do not go down the street but look for the stairs on the left from the main entrance of the station: that will be much easier instead of tourning it all around!! The Rooms (we had a double... More

You get what you pay for, and as we paid sod all this theory was well reflected in our stay at the Spirit Hotel. It's fine, but I won't stay there again. We were sucked in to booking it, without really looking at what else was available, because it looked so hilarious. It's situated at the top of a hill,... More

This hootel is an extraordinary and crazy .It is in a quiet area, you can walk to the centre and its only 15 minutes. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical continental style but very nice and the staff were helpful. The atmosphere was good, it was in an excellent location, there was food available which was basic,... More

We chose this hotel when we saw its picture from website, and its great location, as we travelled by train and this hotel is right behind railway station. PROS: Very good location. 'Spirit' building design. Staff was very nice and kind, she provided us very good and accurate information about the city and public transport and others. Breakfast was good,... More

Despite all what has been writen there, I think it is really interesting place to stay. This building, by my personal opinion, is so breathtaking, that I would recommended you, to try it. It is definitly no typical accommodation,so if you like something extra ordinary, it is something for you. All that comments, which are there, depends on more aspects.... More

I stayed here last year after being shown their website at the tourist office. "Oh it's not too far" they said. right up a hill and through some dodgy looking parts of town. The photos on the website must be 10 years old. It's vile. totally and utterly VILE. The breakfast was just sitting there uncovered at 5pm to be... More
