Good location: 5 minutes walk from the main railway station (add 15 minutes for a tram to the city center), but in a quiet place (no "railway station atmosphere" at all). A nice building with interesting outside and inside design. Friendly staff. A bathtub (unexpected in a hotel of such class). I paid 26 euro for one night in a... More

It's a great place, especially for people with artistic souls. The building, with it's colorfull walls and labyrints of balconys surrounding it looks like an impressionists wild dream. The rooms are big, with comfortable beds and toilets with bath tubs. Staying here is a great experience. In the main shared area in front of the reception you can also try... More

It's very unusual hotel on the border of central area of Bratislava. Facilities, cleanliness and other hotel related definitions should be considered from different angle. The place looks like crowd of young artists/painters made a revolution in one single building and founded their own republic. Everyone can join republic for affordable price. Don't complain if this is not a hilton,... More

It is a very nice cosy hotel just 15 min by foot to city centre . Very spaceous rooms , friendly and helpful staff .... This place is awesome but not luxurious.... The architecture is crazy. We booked room for four people and it was very spaceous duplex with like 5 balconies with awesome view over the city....

I would give this hotel a big thumbs up for the great location nearby the railway station, which can be really useful. Also, the uniquea architecture is really interesting and it surely is one of the places in the world which differs. WiFi was awesome! However, I agree with other reviews. it definitely needs maintanance or renovation. It could be... More

It's a little disappointing to arrive here after the colorful photos. Other than lots of paint and colors the builder of the hotel is not a very talented mason. Some windows won't open, some balconies are not safe (for children) and the acoustics are bad. The hotel is generally shaggy, not too clean and our room smelled of cigarettes even... More

It is more hostel, not a hotel. But place is superb! Colorfull, interesting, good location. We stayed in quadruple room in top floor. It was perfect! A lot of space, three balconies with city view, windows of unusual shape. Number was two floor with double bed and to single beds, sofa, two tea tables, working desk, tv, fridge, safe box.... More

Don't be fooled by the name, this is a hostel, not a hotel. Yes it is quirky to look at but that is where the positives end. The hostel is out of town in a grubby area. Didn't fancy walking around there much so taxis in and out of town get expensive. The hotel hasn't seen a window clean probably... More

The hotel is unusually quirky, but also needs a refurbishing and some basic maintenance. For example, the shower was cold at times, and the windows were hard to close/open. The upper floor has a weird smell. But at the same time it had an interesting artsy feel to it, and the staff were very nice when asked. They just don't... More

We stayed at Hotel Galeria for one night. I was pretty happy to have found a hotel that looked and felt "special" for our short stay in Bratislava. We all liked the soul of the hotel, and thought that it must have been amazing when it was first decorated; and it could be amazing again if fixed up a little.... More
