I stayed here in February 2012, whilst working just down the road, therefore I took the option to stay here & get to work quickly rather than commuting in from the city centre. The hotel is ok, but by no means 4 star. The rooms could do with a lick of paint & resembled university dorms more than a hotel.... More

The hotel is located in a weird environment far from everything. It looks like a bunker where you have to use an electronic key to go everywhere (even to go out of the restaurant). The room was so small that we had trouble opening our luggage. The lights were shutting down all the time behind us in the hallway. We... More

As others suggest, this hotel is some distance from the centre BUT easily accessible by trams number 3 and 5. There is no way it is a serious four-star property but it really is clean and most of the seven or eight staff we met were very pleasant. Breakfast is disappointing! There are no room keys, rather electronic tags and... More

So where to start, I never normally review hotels however me and friend visited last weekend and had such an experience we decided that we simply must share our experience. We arrived noticing that we were miles from town but thought we had a bargain as the hotel looked quite plush on the website though we were wrong. I will... More

I stayed in this hotel one night on my way to Vienna by bus. The hotel is fine but far from the center. The room was rather small and looked like the room in the dormitory without balcony but clean and had amazing view from the window. The breakfast is served from 7 AM and there was a great variety... Hotel is good. Beds were fine, rooms clean. The hotel has strict rules about noise after 22.00 hours. The first night there was a party going on with loud noise untill 4 am. The other night students were partying, also on the hallways and in their rooms which was disturbing. The hotel has camera's everywhere but no one took action... More

I was staying here for a seminar in June 2011. The Hotel Baronka is located about 15-20 minutes from the center of Bratislava. The hotel offers all amenities - restaurant, gift shop, Internet access, spa. The hotel area is not bad, there are several small restaurants, cofee places and supermarkets. The staff was almost nice and speaks english.
