if you want to discover how hotel business was during the cold war, this is the place you have to go! Great experience. I guess receptionist was a army sergeant just a few days ago. Male sure you have your passport and credit card ready - if you don't want trouble. And don't go to the salt cave with three... More

This hotel is situated in a great location for easy bus access to the airport and city centre. The staff are all very polite and always willing to help. The rooms are large, clean, light and comfortable. I had to leave early for the airport so they suggested a breakfast takeaway package which was fantastic and incredibly generous. An excellent... Old but renovated building hosts this nice hotel. It's clean with great rooms (the four bed suite is amazing) and excellent breakfast. The only disadvantage is that it's about 30 min walking from the center of the town.

This hotel was excellent value, the room was clean , pleasantly furnished with a comfy bed, the price included free access to wi fi , a very nice buffet breakfast and the opportunity to chillax in the salt cave. The staff were helpful and friendly and there was information on buses to city centre readily available . I would certainly... More

Friendly helpful staff greet you on arrival to a clean and tidy hotel located in a quiet residential area only 20 minutes or a short trolleybus ride away from the Old Town - The rooms are spacious with all the required comforts. The room coffee maker requires a art to work (just add only 2 cups of water). The breakfasts... More

A friendly we'll run hotel but lacking in some easy fix basics. Kettle could only be plugged in when put under the desk on the floor and only herbal teas available. Room service menu basic & room very small and a little shabby but clean. Having said all this the friendly efficient and welcoming staff were really excellent. They went... More

TV jumps from 4:3 to 16:9 all the time. Clean rooms but bathrooms would already need little maintenance. Didn't like the pillows at all and would appreciate harder materace/bed.Breakfast is nice and enough to choose from and I like the hunting trophies in the space where breakfast takes place.

My wife and I stayed at the Apollo Hotel for 3 night in May of 2013. Although there is not a whole lot to do in Bratislava, the hotel is excellent. It is located in a good part of the city, the bus stops right in front of the hotel. If you wanted to you could walk to old town... More

We (me and my husband) went to restaurant on Wednesday 5th of March for lunch time. We were welcomed and seated by a waiter who served us as well. Service on high level, food perfect. We had venison steak, pheasant soup and cheesecake. Both soup and main course superb, cheese cake not my style but still good. I loved the... More

We recently spent four nights here on our first visit to Bratislava. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is 20 minutes from the centre, the number 50 bus stops just outside, If you do not want to eat in the centre, there is a nice Greek taverna just round the corner, an Italian...
