Although the location of the hotel is quite convenient and from the outside it looks quite posh and modern, going beyond the facade you'll get a nasty wake up call. Hotel Danube was excellent for a recent break in Bratislava. Its proximity to the old town (a 30 second walk) is ideal for those wishing to sample the bars and restaurants of Bratislava as its right on your door step. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was excellent. I would definietly recommend this hotel for a short break. more
