just returned from a 5 night stay at the Skaritz. As soon as We walked into the lobby, we new it was going to be a pleasant stay, just a good feeling. Our feelings where correct, the standard room was lovely. Decent sized bedroom with a wall mounted TV and large bed. A small sitting room again with a TV... More

The location could not be any better, right in the middle of Old Town, Stare Mesto, Bratislava. Though it's in the pedestrian zone, cabs and buses are available only a couple hundred yards (or meters) from the front door. Parking for private vehicles is also very close by. The accommodations are squeaky clean and thoroughly modern, and the buffet breakfast... More

This small hotel is great for anyone wanting to be in the heart of the old city. All the sites are steps from you as well as the restaurants and cafes. It's main problem is that on weekends the restaurants stay open until very late and if you are a light sleeper that could be a real problem. The hotel... More

Stayed at the Skaritz Hotel and Residence in Bratislava 04/11/2015. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are excellent. The rooms were so nice I actually took pictures and posted them for friends. It is located on a pedestrian zone, so if you have heavy luggage you will be dragging it a couple of blocks,... More

Right in the heart of the downtown. The hotel is very small but the room was spacious. Tea facilities in the room, and all other small basics. No conditioner for hair in the bathroom and I couldn't even buy it from the reception. Only 2 SK TV stations. Breakfast was fine, rich, although I missed salmon and fresh juice, one... More

Great hotel right in the old part of Bratislava , rooms were huge and finished to a high standard. Plenty of bars and places to eat right outside , we were there on a Tuesday so it was pretty quiet. Would go back. Bratislava castle is well worth a visit and is in easy walking distance if your fit. A... More

This is a well-run, well-priced hotel in a nicely restored old building in the center of old town. Staff is helpful and pleasant, the rooms are nicely done, decent breakfast. Really the only downside is the street noise (partic. at weekends) from the bars and restaurants around, so if you like fresh air (open windows) and quiet, you have to... More

Great value for money. Only thing I could complain was the bed which wasn't a double, but two single beds put together. Everything else was perfect. Just don't expect any extraordinary communication with the staff - I think it's a national habit that they are rather shy.

This was a strange experience. All the key facets are there for a good review: location is outstanding (being right in the centre of the old town), shower was excellent with plenty of hot water, we took a suite which was very large and consisted of four rooms, breakfast adequate, bed large and comfortable. But. The reception staff were the... More

Briefly stayed at this hotel at the end of December as part of a short sightseeing tour. Initially, we booked three nights, but moved out earlier because two days are quite enough for Bratislava. Even the fact that we had a prepaid and non-refundable booking couldn't dissuade us from heading for Vienna. However, our decision was not in the least... More
