I booked this hotel on mid-September through hotels.com. One day later I received an email indicating that the hotel cancelled the reservation. I sent an email to the hotel asking what happened, but it took 45 days for the hotel to answer. Obviously too late to take any action.

The hotel is located in the middle of old city. It's only 5-10 minutes by bus from train station. It's surrounded by many restaurants and bar. In the evening, you can hear classical music around. The room is big, the bathroom is clean. But it has no elevator. It's a bit difficult to carry your luggage to 4th floor using... More

We upgraded our booking to a comfort room after reading other reviews , the classic must be very basic as this was basic but ok for our stay. Standards could be improved if more attention was paid to detail eg having a shower bracket , having space to hang clothes, a plug in the washbasin, light bulbs to be replaced... More

I stayed here on two separate occasions with my Fiancé over a period of 10 day. The first room was an upgraded comfort room and was very spacious and well equipped, it was nice to see a kettle and tea making facilities. Always a nice touch to see this when you are English! The staff were always helpful throughout both... More

We booked this hotel the night before. We felt like it was a great deal after the price we paid in other cities for European hotel chains. The hotel is in an old building in the old town, so you will walk up multiple flights of stairs carrying your luggage, this might be problem for some people. The hotel only... More

I experienced a theft by an employee for which I have proof. As a result I also experienced a totally incompetent manager who provided no assistance, only defensive reasons that the theft did not happen. I don’t believe this review should go into the details, but let me know if you would care to have a copy of the police... More

In the room there is no closet, the bathroom door can not be closed, because the door is higher than the frame and the front door are improperly cut and there is hole. In the bathroom there is no hairdryer!

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights early April 2014. To note is that the hotel is located on the top floors of the building without a lift so if you have problems taking the stairs with your luggage this is not your hotel. For location the hotel is situated slab in the middle of the old town. The two... More

Just returned back from a 3 night trip stopping at the old city hotel. We had two rooms both with ensuite. The hotel is on the top floors of a 3 or maybe 4 story building. Our rooms were through a spiral staircase in the converted loft and it was just our two rooms on this floor which was great.... More
