Okay, I must admit to being biased. Tibor, the owner, speaks Polish and is so incredibly friendly that he and I became instant friends! He made me and my friends feel like most welcome guests. The front desk clerk and the restaurant service are okay but a bit indifferent to guests. Not what I expected given the congenial owner. Other... More

GOOD: 1. Free car parking. 2. Free wi fi internet in room. 3. Good breakfast. 4. Free spa zone with several steam rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, and a bar. 5. Nice rooms with balconies facing the lake, 6. Very friendly and helpful staff. 7. Good thematical restaurant nearby. BAD: 1. Sometimes too many kids, so pools are crowded... More

One part of the hotel has been revamped, unfortunately the other one is already very wore off, including the furniture, bathroom, linens and the towels. This part of the hotel is definitely not 4 stars. The restaurant is also very much of the seventies, moreover organized in a way that it gives crowded feeling even if it is not full.... More

We spent a night in this hotel at the beginning of March. The hotel wasn't busy, there was only a couple in the swimming pool and nobody in the saunas. Maybe if the hotel is full the spa facilities couldn't be enough for all the guests. The staff was polite and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was... More

The hotel - 40-minute away from Budapest - was recently revamped, they offer a great variety of spa facilities (cold water basin, Finnish, bio saunas, salt and steam cabins, but of limited size (4 persons per cabin). The indoor and outdoor pools are not huge, but surprisingly, sufficient: most guests take the free trips (see below), so it is usually... More

We spent a long weekend in the Hotel with my sister. The room was really nice, comfortable and spacious (we were in the new building). The whole hotel is really clean and tidy, so the wellness area. The staff was really helpful and polite with us. The food was ok for us, nothing special but delicious. What was a little... More

Hotel Visegrad is a decent hotel with nicely refurbished rooms. It has a nice wellness part with Danube-view. It all has been renovated recently and has a good atmosphere. If you don't want to spend too much but still would like a comfortable stay, this is a good choice. Rooms are very sound proof. Breakfast is quite meager for nowadays... More

The hotel is overlooking the Danube and the castle. We had a room with river view. It was very nice and spacious. I really liked the modern style and the bathroom, although the long sink looks great, it isn't that practical. The wellness section is a bit limited but ok. The problem lies with the staff. Most of them are... More

The Hotel Visegrad is a modern family run hotel right on the Danube in the picturesque town of Visegrad. It has two wings, one built in 2001, and a more recent addition. Both are very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Indeed, the decor in the 2001 wings is somewhat more cozy and warm. There are views of the Danube from... More
