I spent just one night there, but would love to stay for more. This small hotel is located out of the main tourist areas, but the town of Tihany and the lake beaches may be reached easily. There is a bus stop to Tihany quay (to get to the Szantod railway station by a ferry), and further to Balatonfured (another... More

I was really surprised that i have found this kind and beautful hotel and restaurant near the lake Balaton. Our bedroom was comfortable and well-equipped. The wellness are is really marvellous, we wnjoyed the sun and the clear water in the pool. I really like that the park and garden is full of flowers and trees. I am vegetarian but... More

We stayed here for 3 days and all through our stay, we just love it The room is clean and nice. The bathroom may be small but it is nice and clean. The A/C unit is quiet and works well. Love their patio and even if our room is near the swimming pool, you don't hear any noise from the... More

I stayed at the Adler for six nights, from may 19th,through the 24th.2014. I found my room, spotless,as was the bath, and having a small private patio,a big plus.My off season rate was 25 euros, including, breakfast, all taxes, and service. For another 8.5 euros i was given some very nice choices for the night meal..3 courses, inc, service and taxes.Having the uses of a swimmingpool, hottub, saunas, and bikes is quite... The Adler hotel is on the Tihany peninsula of lake Balaton, about one and a half hour from Budapest. It is a quaint country inn nestled on a side a hillside. The surrounding country is hilly and beautiful, with cobble stone streets and mortar sided houses with thatched roofs. The area will take you back to a bygone era. The... More

We stayed at the Adler on a number of occasions. The rooms are all clean and spacious. Staff is very accommodating and eager to help. The newly added spa section with pool, hot tub, sauna and lounge area is a welcome addition and adds lots of value to staying here. Prices are reasonable. The adjoining restaurant serves traditional Hungarian food... More

We arrived at this place and immediately noticed the standards were high. Checkin was easy and our room was quite large and very clean. We wanted the Air Con which thanks cost an extra 5Euros a day but worth it. The Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi were included in the 45Euro a night price for two people so good value for... More

Nice, friendly little family hotel located not too far from the Lake Balaton. Although they had good facilities (small pool, jacuzzi and sauna) we didn't use them, as it was rainy when we stayed and the jacuzzi and sauna were only availble in the afternoon from 2 to 8 when we weren't there. Instead we went down the road, about... More

This is a typical family hotel, with the qualities and defaults of this kind of hotel... But I think qualities overtake defaults in this case. We really felt on holiday... The lady-owner is very kind and helpful (the painting at the back of the counter shows her grandfather). Rooms are very simple (tiles, small TV with few hungarian channels, furniture...)... More

I picked this small hotel for one night on our fly/drive thru Hungary & Austria in Oct., 2011 as it was on our route past Lake Balaton, was run by a Germano/Austrian family, looked nice and offered very reasonable rates and free parking. It turned out to be better than expected. 1.5km outside Tihany Village on the pretty Tihany Peninsula,... More
