What a cute little hotel! We stayed 3 nights. The hotel is just across the park (which used to be a moat) at the Castle Nadasdy in Sarvar, Hungary. Rates were about $45USD per night. There are only 9 rooms and they are upstairs above the dining room. The rooms are freshly done: newly decorated and clean and spotless. The bathroom is very modern and extremely clean.
The hotel looks abit like a hunting lodge, Hungarian-style. The dining room has a good reputation in town and serves excellent food. Breakfast is included. This means you can partake of the small buffet they put out or order straight off the breakfast menu. Because the hotel is small (more like a country inn), food is always fresh, hot and delicious. So is their coffee! Desserts are great, too.
There is a very small bar in the hotel and a few locals seem to pop in through out the day for a nip, but if you really want to sit down and have a few drinks, this is done in the dining area. There...
