As mentioned a few times before, you're bound for a time travel to 1990 or so. :) Including the older waiters in the restaurant. (Rudeness, singing loudly while serving etc.) The younger staff in the hotel was really very nice and polite though. Food was actually better than I thought it would be, but don't drink from the 'juice' in... More

We spent three nights there. Its and old fashion hotel from 90´s and they spent only a little money for modernisation. The room furniture is old and need to be fixed. The hotel is mostly used as a health care premises its not a family wellness hotel! The showcases at the coridor need to be cleaned. The food is valuable.... More

Away from the hustle and bustle where you can be pampered and experience the hotel's spa facilities relax with a selection of massages, spa and choice of pools indoor and out. The restaurant is good for both breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The grounds is good to relax in as well as having a gentle stroll.

Late booking double room £75 per night half board. Great location being opposite the castle and within the grounds of the beautiful arboretum. There are 2 thermal pools, 1 inside and 1 outside. The 3rd pool has normal water and is half in/out and facing south - very pleasant to lie in even when the temperature was below +10C. The... More

We visited the Kam arboretum (30 km from Sarvar) to see the largest collection of rhododendron flowers in Hungary there and stayed in this hotel overnight. The hotel offers a nice walk as is very close to the attractions of Sarvar (castle) and the local arboretum opens from its garden. The hotel staff at the reception were super nice. Food... More

We stayed here 5 nights in late August 2012 during the heat wave. Imagine our disappointment when we found our room had no air conditioning! This seemed very odd for a spa resort hotel. We requested a fan and got one the next day for our entire stay. Thank Heavens! This hotel is pleasant and has everything you would need... More

This hotel was built in 1985; today you can feel as if you were in 1985. Nothing has changed since that time. The wellness center is small, there is one old pool with hot termal water, and one other pool. Outside you can find a swimming pool. It should be renovated, or a new spa should be built. I can... We have spent a long weekend in this hotel and we quite enjoyed the place. Room was nice and clean, only the furniture seemed to be a bit old and decoration sort of old fashioned but it`s just a detail. Staff was very nice and helpful but they mostly speak no English, only German but there`s always someone to help.... More

I'd been to Danubius Hotels before I went to Sárvár, and I had high expectations. I was a bit disappointed though - the rooms looked old and used, not horrible at all, but I was expecting something more. Didn't really like the interiors of the hotel, but the restaurant was great - they even let us eat after we arrived... More
