Ambient was a nice little place, very clean, very nice cafe with wifi downstairs. It was sort of between a hostel and a cheap guesthouse - it had dorm rooms, but no kitchen or lockers or such, although there was a common area. It was quite a walk from the Lake, about 20 mins, but it's right next to the town, so it's close to lots of nice cafes and the shopping area. The Lake and beach at Keszthely is really nice - it has all kinds of stuff to do, like cafes, bars, shady grassed areas, minigolf, water polo, volleyball.... but to go you have to pay - about 3EU I think. So be prepared! more
