It was not our first visit at this hotel, because we visited the place one year before on a culinary festival, where TOP restaurants participated from all over Hungary. The atmosphere is unique. The food is outstanding. The breakfast escpecially. You can not meet that variety even in 5 star hotels. The rooms especially the suite are quite expensive and... More

Ideally situated for seeing Hugarian specialities, like Woodpeckers and Raptors. This hotel provides excellent value for money, clean, comfortable, and superb food. Very friendly, helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. I stayed there for three nights, 1st-3rd June 2014.

Run by the family owners, you will quickly feel at home here. Not chic or "boutique", it is nonetheless unique and set in a delightful rural area. My room up in the eaves was comfortable and the only sounds were of birdsong and frogs croaking in the grounds. As for the food, it was outstanding - high quality, freshly made,... More

Very uniquely structured hotel, filled with plenty of sweet and original decoratinal elements that give it a great flair. Owners/staff make everyone feel like they are truly and personnaly guests of their home. Wine bar is equipped with high quality local Bolyki wine. Breakfast was my favorite: a huuuuge variety of salty and sweet dishes, all made of local ingredients,... More

We came to the Nomad Hotel, for a nice long weekend for rest, and some excursion around that part of Hungary. By the first look I you would not say that this is a "classic hotel" more like a "bed and breakfast" somewhere in the UK. Do not get me wrong, this is a positive thing. The place has a... More

The Hotel was recommended by a friend, Janos Bolyki whi is a fantastic wincellar nearby in Eger. First we had a short trip to Eger and did not have the time to stay at the Hotel, only could take a look, but it was enough to feel the special atmosphare of this place. It is not surprising the people so... More

We went there with my fiancé a year ago, and we had a wonderful time there! The staff/owner lady/ was way beyond friendly: she made speacial meals for us, or we could try their new things. She was friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, and the whole place was just amazing- even if it was around wintertime. I recommended... More

One of the friendliest hotels we've ever stayed in. Barbara and Sandor were very helpful and made us feel totally at home for our two night stay. Our attic room was rather on the small side for a couple of old 'uns and the bed rather low but it was comfortable and quirky. Kids would absolutely love this room. The... More

We looked for a silent, nice, romantic place with a special atmosphere for our "without child" holiday. And we have found it. Nomád is in a beautiful nature enviroment, the buildings and the room are rustic with a lot of heart, unicaly special, and everything served our rest, our relaxing, our good feeling. The staff (members of one family) was... More
