If you like charming little hotels with a very characteristic style, this is your place. Hidden in the hill country but still close to the city of Eger it is an ideal place for exploring the area. The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly. The kitchen is excellent and they also offer a great selection of vines. To try... More

I stayed here whilst passing through Hungary and was just overwhelmed by the hospitality and attention given by the lovely owners. Barbara is wonderful host and I have never eaten so much and so well in my life! I cannot recommend this place more.

Rooms a little dated and the grounds and parking facilities somewhat untidy. However the excellent quality of the catering - including breakfast and dinner - renders this less important and our hosts were most welcoming. Lovely setting.

Our burden group stayed for three nights at this interesting eclectic hotel and campsite outside of Eger. We stayed in upgraded room that was really two stories starting at the second floor. It was very nice and quiet. Birds abounded nearby at the lake within easy walking distance. There is a giant dog, chained, but he is bossed by a... More

Barbi, Sanyi and Csabi really makes u feel at home! When ur having breakfast (with many home made choices) or dinner ( which also has options to choose from) you will feel ur part of their family! We stayed in one of the wooden houses, which are nice and cozy. Could have some small improvements, but due to the beautiful... More

A nice camping, run by a very friendly family. They like to collect old furniture and things and put them all over the place. Enough shadow, small but nice swimmingpool, where you can swim or lie or sit down and relax in the provided furniture. Great food when you join the dinner and breakfast. Clean showers and toilets. We stayed... More

We stayed on the camping for 5 days and it were 5 very nice days. The place is located in a valley from where you can make nice hikes or tours with the mtb (steepy ones) . There are not a lot of places with shadow on the camping side but there is a pool (daily cleaned) where can jump... More

My wife and I spent three exceptionally pleasant nights at the Nomad Hotel recently, not because we had consciously selected it but because it was an integral part of a wide-ranging nature tour we were taking through a number of Hungary's national parks. Others on this site have praised it and its owners repeatedly and there is no need to... More

Stayed here with 2 friends on a bird watching break, the hotel rooms and gardens where excellent, and the food was fantastic. Barbara the owner Andover staff couldn't have been more helpful, even let us make a lunch up from the extensive breakfast feast provided daily. Would recommend this hotel to anyone you will not be disappointed. John,Tony and Dave

Not sure how many times we have visited, but last week's stay was excellent, as always. Wonderful walking in the local hills, great wine, room comfortable and the food ! Klara is determined to send me to an early grave. Cannot recommend this place too highly for a break, only a couple of hours from Budapest.Try it.
