The Nomad is a quirky hotel in many ways, it must be said. The rooms are all different, and number 56 is adjacent to number 7. You get a small piece of soap if you ask for it. (Otherwise, there was liquid soap in the shower only in my room.) Outbuildings, of which there are many, are in various stages... More

Nomad is located in a lovely little valley not far from Eger. You are surrended by nature. Nice location. The service is perfect, and you can feel it is a family business The food is a must here with a 5 stars hotel breakfast and very nice original local meals fo dinner However, some emergency improvment are needed in terms... It was more than perfect. The food, the place, the room. In one word brilliant. We had a room with a double sized bathtub and it was so lovely. The mood was perfect. Everybody was so lovely. In the last night we had a very romantic dinner on a bridge not to far from the hotel. We enjoyed the fantastic... More

It was the second time to stay at this charming and very unique hotel, and I am sure it was not the last time. This is a stay long discovery. Lot of interest thinks placed around the garden, in the community places, in the hiding relaxing places, and of course in the cozy rooms. The hotel owned and run by... More

If you step in, you'll be enchanted in a few minutes. The reason of choosing this charming hotel was it's standing on upscale place in the Tripadvisor. In this case this is well deserved. Perfect place for relax or for charging full of energy, you can have little trips in the area (Eger city, Bükk & Mátra mountains, Tisza river... More

It was not our first visit at this hotel, because we visited the place one year before on a culinary festival, where TOP restaurants participated from all over Hungary. The atmosphere is unique. The food is outstanding. The breakfast escpecially. You can not meet that variety even in 5 star hotels. The rooms especially the suite are quite expensive and... More

Ideally situated for seeing Hugarian specialities, like Woodpeckers and Raptors. This hotel provides excellent value for money, clean, comfortable, and superb food. Very friendly, helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. I stayed there for three nights, 1st-3rd June 2014.

Run by the family owners, you will quickly feel at home here. Not chic or "boutique", it is nonetheless unique and set in a delightful rural area. My room up in the eaves was comfortable and the only sounds were of birdsong and frogs croaking in the grounds. As for the food, it was outstanding - high quality, freshly made,... More

Very uniquely structured hotel, filled with plenty of sweet and original decoratinal elements that give it a great flair. Owners/staff make everyone feel like they are truly and personnaly guests of their home. Wine bar is equipped with high quality local Bolyki wine. Breakfast was my favorite: a huuuuge variety of salty and sweet dishes, all made of local ingredients,... More

We came to the Nomad Hotel, for a nice long weekend for rest, and some excursion around that part of Hungary. By the first look I you would not say that this is a "classic hotel" more like a "bed and breakfast" somewhere in the UK. Do not get me wrong, this is a positive thing. The place has a... More
