I totally agree with the other reviews. A charming hotel with a rustic vibe that made you feel very welcome. Great food and hospitality. We spent several days in Northern Hungary doing walking and wine tasting trips via Walk in Hungary and were completely happy with both the trips and the hotel. more

We stayed in the campsite and it was just what we needed after two months on the road. The hotel has a swimming pool with a bar serving cold beer on confortable couches. Very friendly family run operation that you will find hard to leave. Highly recommended! more

What a wonderful welcome, arriving at the Nomad Hotel! It was friendly, efficient and so obviously a family affair. The food was fantastic with several choices for each course. Vegetarians were catered for especially well and we often found ourselves coveting their menu! The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The Nomad is situated amongst beautiful established wooded hillsides... more

We were greeted on arrival with a refreshing drink and the warm and friendly staff soon made us welcome. Everyone speaks good English. The rooms were extremely comfortable and there are plenty of additional lounges and outside areas in which to relax. However, what really singles this hotel out from the rest is the superlative food. If a "taste" of... more

As with all other reviewers we found that the Nomad was, once again, the best place that we have stayed. It is in the excellent Bukk hills area which is great for walking and birding. The welcome is so friendly from barbara and all of the staff/extended family. The food is exceptional, the rooms spacious and clean and everyone is... more

Stayed for four nights, with four friends, watching the birds in this lovely area. Copious amounts of high quality food and drink. Comfortable rooms and a top host who could not do enough for us. Overall, a first class experience and thoroughly recommended as excellent value. more

We booked this hotel over the internet and received some friendly e.mails from Barbara who asked if we needed any help with transport from the airport, etc. When we arrived we were met by the family who greeted us as though we were old friends coming to stay for the weekend. The whole family couldn't do enough for us while... more
