We spent 3 nights around 8.5.2015 in this hotel. There was no problem with parking. Rooms in the 3rd floor of the 3 star part of the hotel were clean and relatively spacious. From our experience it is better to have rooms with windows to the street towards the children playground. Because if there is an event in the hotel,... More

City Certer is 3 minutes, but trafic is bad (lots of one way roads). The hotel is quiet and the room is nice and clean. Free wifi! Yeah! Restaurant is awesome, lots of food around for dinner. Wines are cool too.

Quite big hotel with beautiful flowers hanging from the windows in a good location. That is all as regards good things. It is quite pricely but rooms have very standard furnitures, old carpets. Beds not very comfortable, pillows tiny. Bathroom was very clean.Everything is old fashioned, Huge restaurant where breakfast was served was just unpleasant, breakfast menu rather poor. Really... Like for the price, we have paid, the standard is much below expected level. The room was small, with the thin walls, so we could hear the voices from neighbour rooms. The mattress was very uncomfortable, combination of foam and bedsheets. The breakfast was served in a large, unfriendly room and the choice was far from this, what we used... More

We have no complaints about this hotel, but nothing stands out either. The attached cave wine tasting and storage rooms made for an interesting pre-dinner experience. We would recommend this hotel, if only for its location.

We spent a long weekend in this hotel with my husband. We booked a "Classic type room" which was 3 stars category. The room was simple with older furnitures, but it was clean, and the sleep quality was good. You can also find modernized, nicer rooms in 4 starts category, but they are more expensive of course. The breakfasts were... More

Stayed in this wonderful hotel last month for business and would strongly recommend it to all those, who are looking for a luxurious hotel in the city. It is a decent hotel where one can experience luxury in true sense. From the moment we reached the place and till the time we departed we were treated like royalty. Rooms, services,... More

We had a wonderful stay with my wife in Eger and hotel Korona. Eger is an interesting historical city indeed and the stay in Korona topped it all. The friendly and almost family-like atmosphere, the good food and the excellent four star hotel room made us really feel like at home. The proximity of Korona to the historic city centre... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Eger at Hotel Korona, our family in 3 rooms throughout the hotel. The rooms were very disappointing- the mattresses were just pieces of foam, the pillows flat, and the decor was dated and garish. In one of the rooms, the toilet sprayed water all over the floor each time it was flushed (even if... More

Judging by the different reviews, I think there are 2 types of room, I believe, as part of a group tour, we would have had the cheaper rooms. A brightly coloured, a little tired, clean room. However, the small bathroom smelled of wee! Other guests on the ground floor complained of a damp smell. Paper thin walls, we could hear... More
