The restaurant is cosy but the musicians were drunk swearing at each other loud, so everybody could hear it. I thought of standing up and leaving the place but the kids were too hungry. After a while they were sent home but why did it take so long??? Service was a little slow but the food was delicious.

I visited this place in January 2015 with a group of friend The rooms are well renovated and the global feeling was ok The service was terrible. When we arrived (saturday 11am), the hotel's main door was closed. We went to the restaurant to request some help. The waiter shouted back that we are wrong, the door is open...after 15... More

Pros - Very nice room (small house next to the pond in the garden). - The quality of the lodging house much higher than you would expect in a good hotel. - Perfect bathroom. - Very good food in the restaurant in the pension. - Nice breakfast. - Location. Cons - Jacuzzi in the room was broken and nobody repaired... More

Honestly, I'm still very angry because of this annoying bad experience! We entered the restaurant at around 7pm in the evening to have a dinner there. We took our seat near to the bar and were waiting for someone to ask what we want to order. No-one came there for more than 10 minutes! That is unacceptable. One of the... More

Our room (#1) was a lovely room with a balcony and a view of the public gardens. It was clean and comfortable although at the time our air conditioning was not working. Breakfast was good. The staff were helpful when you could find them and this was our only complaint. They should have a bell at the reception as it... More

Not hard to find. Lovely location in the "valley of beautiful women". Very clean. Victor at check could be a bit more welcoming. The whole time we were never made to feel as if anyone cared we were there. The restaurant was great-good food although service was waiter dependent. Edward was extremely personable. Gypsy music made it worthwhile as they... More

Eger doesn't have any attractions instead of local wine. Kulacs Csarda Panzio located in bedt area for wine testing, just about 200 meters from wineries... Hotel has big rooms all made by wood. There is nice country breakfast. Their restaurant is nice, and all the meals we had ordered were tasty (both fish meals and meat meals). Some negative things:... More

We went to their restaurant (Csarda) on January 1st, we arrived there at 9pm after visiting a wine cellar. We asked them if we could still have a dinner, and they said yes. However, they continuously put us under pressure to order and eat fast, the staff was sitting at a table next to ours starring at us, so we... More

For wine lover Szepasszonvögly is great place and Kulacs Csarda is perfect accomodation for days in Eger area. Short walking distance to many caves. Downtown Eger not that far away (though quite a hill to walk). Building and yard are nice, rooms great, car parking safe and own restaurant is really excellent. They also serve nice, wide variety, breakfast.

We went to this restaurant twice, so good was our experience the first time. We normally try to vary our eating habits but we just had to go back.We ate outdoors in a beautiful setting. The service was excellent as was the food. For starters try the cheeseboard which when shared between 2 people is still plenty. The catfish was... More
