This was my first stay at Hotel Imola Udvarhaz. It is hard to find anything negative to say about the hotel, so why try. The location is perfect and the hotel is quite new and clean. If you are coming by your own car they have a big garage under the hotel that is free of charge. The service is... More

The rooms in this hotel are comfortable without being plush, but also compact without feeling basic, so it sort of walks the middle ground there. Generally it is comfortable, with a decent desk for working, and free wifi to make that possible. The price for the room in February was very good – we also had a company rate and... More

Eger and its storybook setting along with this this hotel were a delight. The eagerly helpful staff go out of their way for guests, the adjoining restaurant, and their selection of wines, is as good as any five star place to which we've been. Eger is a laid back font of history with thermal pools to relax in after a... More

We have spent a night in the family room. It was excellent, well located and really comfortable. Friendly and flexible staff. Moderate selection of breakfast but quality was ok. Free underground parking made it easy to approach. Stylish furniture and quality in details. Free wifi with good stable performance.

Hated my stat here, unfortunately despite a nice and helpful staff at reception. Room located just above the restaurant, should not have been a problem if the kitchen staff was not playing loud music after the closing time and opening hours. i had to get out of bed on two consecutive nights to complain at reception. just woken up now... We have stayed in this hotel for a number of times when we have visited Eger and I can highly recommend it. Its clean and very modern, right next to the castle and also has an excellent restaurant, though be warned that is stops serving at 9pm

The hotel is located at the foot of the Eger castle. Very nice and helpful staff at reception. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Downsides: ordering coffee/tea/eggs at breakfast is quite chaotic. Housekeeping is quite superficial, eg. they don't even wash wine glasses. Overall, a nice hotel for a relaxing city trip.

We concur with everything that has been said about this place. It is clean, efficient, everything works and it has an unrivalled location in the centre of this beautiful small city, right outside the castle. We had a standard room which was a bit cramped but could still accommodate a small lobby area with a small bathroom as well as... More

We stayed in this exceptionally clean apartment hotel in Eger for one night. Our apartment was on the top floor, very spacious and well kept. The only drawback was that the view from the roof lights were restricted but the hotel is right next to the castle entrance and a wide selection of restaurants in town. Friendly staff, good breakfast... More

We echo the previous writer's comments: roomy, comfortable, impeccably clean and light, huge wardrobes and chests of drawers for storage and little kitchen units too. Perfect location at the entrance to the castle and private (free) parking under the restaurant. And talking of the restaurant, it's got to be the best Hungarian modern cuisine eating place out of Budapest -... More
