The hotel is located at the foot of the Eger castle. Very nice and helpful staff at reception. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Downsides: ordering coffee/tea/eggs at breakfast is quite chaotic. Housekeeping is quite superficial, eg. they don't even wash wine glasses. Overall, a nice hotel for a relaxing city trip.

We concur with everything that has been said about this place. It is clean, efficient, everything works and it has an unrivalled location in the centre of this beautiful small city, right outside the castle. We had a standard room which was a bit cramped but could still accommodate a small lobby area with a small bathroom as well as... More

We stayed in this exceptionally clean apartment hotel in Eger for one night. Our apartment was on the top floor, very spacious and well kept. The only drawback was that the view from the roof lights were restricted but the hotel is right next to the castle entrance and a wide selection of restaurants in town. Friendly staff, good breakfast... More

We echo the previous writer's comments: roomy, comfortable, impeccably clean and light, huge wardrobes and chests of drawers for storage and little kitchen units too. Perfect location at the entrance to the castle and private (free) parking under the restaurant. And talking of the restaurant, it's got to be the best Hungarian modern cuisine eating place out of Budapest -... More

We stayed at the Imola Udvarhaz apartments for two nights. Our accomodation truly was more like an apartment than a hotel room. We had a living room, fully equipped kitchen, and a bedroom (and of course bathroom). The rooms were comfortable, light and airy, and very clean. The only minor complaint I can come up with is that the towels... More

This is a review of the Imola Wine-Restaurant. Imola just made it to the TOP 12 restaurant in Hungary, this was enough incentive to try the place. We had lunch here with family and a young child on a hot July day. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. All six of us was more then happy with the food.... More

We had an excellent lunch here (pity it wasn't dinner so we could have eaten more). Quality and innovation, was as good if not better than most top restaurants in London. Wonderful wines by the glass - best we tasted in Hungary. Discreet and professional service, despite the fact we arrived late and somewhat scruffy after having just 'done' the... More
