Stayed here for six days in December, and the hotel was just about what I expected. Old-fashioned, slow elevators (and they should be more plentiful and spacious) and generally a bit outdated. The food in the restaurant wasn't much to shout about, although breakfast was Ok, apart from the fact that there seemed to be a shortage of decent bread... More

One of the worst hotel experiences in the last 5 years. Style of the sixties but feels like the last vacuum cleaning was in the sixties as well. Uncomfortable, broken bed, dust everywhere. The breakfast and dinner was simply disgusting. It is cheap but I am sure you can find cheaper family-run pensions. The hotel requires a full renovation but... More

This is a soviet era hotel, early sixties, and still has a bit of that aura. It's very conveniently located with regards to the Debrecen sports stadium, Fonix Hall, the University and zoo. As others have commented the Soviet aura clings to it in the attitudes of the staff. Fortunately for me there was a red headed (aftermarket color) young... More

As a hungarian I would like to help to choose a good hotel in Hungary, and avoid those which are not so good,... This one is quite okay -the rooms are clean, the price acceptable ( 10-16 000 HUF)... And there is a little pool with warm water and you can use a sauna. The food is really bad, but... More

I went to this hotel, few days, the room cleaner dont't speak english, and no helpful. This hotel very very dirty, I think a problem is the room cleaner staff..... Pls check the manager your staff because I saw, they smoking the room lobby and no changes the towel, and don't use the vacum. I never came back.

The hotel and the service is outdated. Furniture and design have not been renewed in the last 20 years, most of the waiters are over 50. So, if you want to travel back in time, it is a perfect place to go. The funniest part I think is the bucket in the sauna, as it is former painter-bucket.

We stayed in the two-floored building in a family room, which means two small rooms are connected with a corridor. Everything was ruined and old-fashioned. We didn't like the buffet breakfast nor dinner at all. There were 3 exceptions why I'm not telling to avoid this place. One is the price, the ladies at reception and the proximity of Aquaticum.... Decent place to stay at if you're not interested in anything fancier. Basically the hotel would need a renovation. The price included breakfast and dinner buffet which are quite tasty and varying. Location is also quite good, easy access from town center by tram. I found the staff friendly and helpful.

One of the worst hotel I have ever been. The rooms are dirty. The cleaning is very poor. One part of the hotel doesnt have a lift, and the stuff dont help to carry the suitcase upstairs. It has a thermal pool and the rooms dont include a hairdryer. The hotel has only one hairdryer what you can borrow from... More

The hotel located just next to the city spa and the city center can be reached easily by tram (5 mins). The staff is nice, the rooms are refurbished and for breakfast you can find huge selection of meals.... The hotel's interior would need some renovation...
