The location of the hotel is nice, and staff is helpful. But one would expect much more from a "real" 5star hotel. The interior design is a strange mixture of shiny modern style from the end 90s and the rooms are more like neo-rennessance, neo-roman style strange mixture. It is definitely not my taste and the dark colors gives the... More

I stayed here for 8 nights and was highly impressed, for the balance of quality v price this was excellent value. The room was on the good side of ok, one grip was that the bed was two singles pushed together and covered but the accomadation was good. I was staying in Debrecen for some dental work and spent a... I stayed in a suite for 5 days. Very roomy, two bedrooms plus a large living room. Well equipped, nice furniture, and clean. Personnel always very helpful and kind. The hotel is in a nice part of town, at a 20 minutes walk to the city center. A coffee/tea machine in the room would have been nice. Breakfast was disappointing... More

I spent 3 days in this hotel and definitely I had a good impression. First and foremost, I like the location. It is near the park and tram #1 is stopping just outside the hotel. Second, the staff were really friendly and always ready to assist. Third, the wellness facilities are well kept. Here are some of my issues with... More

Dear God! The food in this place is appalling! Its cold, tasteless and low quality. I don't understand how a 5 star can get away with it. The hotel itself is quite nice but that buffet has shocked me to the core. Avoid.

Together with my family we're regular guests at this hotel, so my opinion may be better than others. This is our favourite weekend relaxation location. For a five star hotel the price is moderate, the dining is good but can be better if they cancel the use of anything freezed. It's not a fine dining place, but if you keep... More

The Divinus is a beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms and plenty of amenities. The hotel is conveniently located on the tram line and just minutes walk thru the park (however, the park was closed for renovations during my recent stay) from the University of Debrecen. The guest rooms are large and well appointed, comfortable beds with plenty of excellent... More

I write this review, because this hotel could be a better place. Situated in a very nice environment, in the 'gate' of Debrecen's attraction, the Big Forest, near to every other attraction, etc. The building itself is very nice, and modern. rooms are o.k., also. Spacious, nice, etc. Wellness - we loved it, unfortunately there is no outside pool, but... More

I stayed here here for two nights in June 2014. Very nice hotel with staff who could not be more helpful and courteous. The room was above average with a nice bathroom and a firm bed. The was no iron in the room - something I do like to see when travelling on business - but the staff took my... More

Divinus is one of the best that i've been... great accommodations, good services. My first time in Hungary and i don't have nothing to complain. Only breakfast needs to be improved, especially the juices.
