We stayed for 3 nights during late August 2014 in a bronze suite. The suite was spectacular and consisted of a beautiful bedroom, huge bathroom and a seperate dining/sitting room with kitchenette. It had everything we needed and more. I have never stayed in a hotel room of such high quality. The staff in the hotel were friendly, approachable and... More

we had bronze & silver rooms and there both good, maybe we would prefair the bronze as it had hardwoodfloor but the carpet at the silver was okay too. great location, big rooms , missing a bit of furnuture and an elevator friendly and helpfull staff . It is not a 5 star hotel like four seasons or intercontinental but... More

You couldn't ask for a much better situated hotel than this one. You're a minute's walk away from the main attractions on the Buda side yet that minute is enough to keep the hotel away from crowds which is nice. Upon arriving we were greeted with a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and a welcome champagne drink at the hotel bar... More

My family stayed here for four nights last week. We had a Gold Suite which was very spacious and elegant. My daughters loved the decor because they felt like princesses sleeping in a castle. The bed and sofabed (where my daughters slept) were comfortable. I was thankful that the bedroom had blackout curtains. The living room drapes let a bit... More

A minor warning to start with. The service is not always what one would expect of a 5-star hotel. It ranges from nice and friendly to indifferent. However, the location is truly wonderful, in a very beautiful and quiet street of the Buda Castle area, a few minutes' walk from St. Mathias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, with convenient bus... This hotel is a gem. On the Buda side of the river in the old part of the city its location is ideal, close to all key sites but also a haven of peace and calm. The rooms were amazing,we stayed in the Bronze suite,- spacious bedroom, huge bathroom and even a kitchen, all supplemented by Georgian furniture. The courtyard... More

During a business trip in June 2014, I had the pleasure of staying in the St. George Residence twice over a 10 day period. Each time, I was extremely pleased. Everything from the service provided by the staff to the wonderful food with the restaurant. Staying here made my business trip a much more pleasurable experience. I look forward to... More

The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. We had the silver suite which consisted of an enormous living room with kitchenette, beautiful bedroom and large bathroom. A real joy after other tiny rooms in Europe where we could barely turn around. We felt like royalty in the suite with all the magnificent Georgian furniture. The staff were wonderful... More

This is a very good hotel, right on Castle Hill so just a very small walk away from all the must-see sites, and the staff is very friendly. We had the 'romantic' package (romantic room, spa bath, etc). The room was excellent and very spatious, a large and luxurious bathroom with a spa bath. The lunch is very good and... More

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the Buda Castle district. It is decorated in a classical style with some antiques that fits very well with the style of the district. We had a Golden suite, which composed of a spacious living room and a comfortable bedroom.
