The luxury you get here is amazing for the price- we got free bottle of wine and glasses of bubble too (not sure if this is standard but we never mentioned anything to get them). The rooms are huge and historic, and the hotel has a lovely quiet old town setting. Lots of nice restaurants in the area, including the... More

We stayed for five days and really enjoyed it, rooms was huge nicely furnished, comfortable bed, great kitchen, now I will always stay at apartment hotels, as I prefer not too eat out all the time, you will not be disappointed if you stay here, nice restaurant, helpful staff, in the castle district, great for walking around, lots of restaurants nearby... Location is in the buda castle district and a short stroll to Matthias Church which is a "must see" in Budapest. The hotel is on a cobblestone street lined with hotels, restaurants, and a few shops further sling. It is just a block from the much more expensive Hilton. We had a gorgeous 4 room suite just off a lovey... More

We spent three nights here. The room was a large three room suite that was clean and quiet. The location was excellent, literally steps to the Matthias Church, and a five minute walk to the Buda Castle. One of the nicest combinations of room, location, and price we have ever experienced.

An amazing hotel that has kept an old world charm with all the modern amenities. We stayed three nights and do not think that we could have found a better location both in the quality of service from hotel staff and the proximity to many of Budapest famous sights - on the Buda side. A wonderful hotel, the rooms are... More

We stayed for 3 nights during late August 2014 in a bronze suite. The suite was spectacular and consisted of a beautiful bedroom, huge bathroom and a seperate dining/sitting room with kitchenette. It had everything we needed and more. I have never stayed in a hotel room of such high quality. The staff in the hotel were friendly, approachable and... More

You couldn't ask for a much better situated hotel than this one. You're a minute's walk away from the main attractions on the Buda side yet that minute is enough to keep the hotel away from crowds which is nice. Upon arriving we were greeted with a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and a welcome champagne drink at the hotel bar... More

My family stayed here for four nights last week. We had a Gold Suite which was very spacious and elegant. My daughters loved the decor because they felt like princesses sleeping in a castle. The bed and sofabed (where my daughters slept) were comfortable. I was thankful that the bedroom had blackout curtains. The living room drapes let a bit... More

A minor warning to start with. The service is not always what one would expect of a 5-star hotel. It ranges from nice and friendly to indifferent. However, the location is truly wonderful, in a very beautiful and quiet street of the Buda Castle area, a few minutes' walk from St. Mathias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, with convenient bus...
