A really affordable hotel near the Opera or Oktogon Metro station. Our room was warm (helpful when the temperature outside ranged between 0-2°C) , quiet, modernly furnished. There seemed to be a hall where they serve breakfast, but it was closed and probably operational during summertime. The neighbourhood was quiet, despite the fact that on both ends of the road... We spent fantastic week end in October! Everything was good starting from kind check-in till late check out.Perfect location just behind the Opera house in a quite street where you can have a rest after a busy sightseeing day.Even if you do not want to cook you will never stay hungry,as many shops and cafés around. Main attractions are about... More

The negatives: - more like a hostel - poor wifi in room - poor lighting and feels dangerous at the entry doors and inside the lift/stair wells - courtyard outlook from balcony, although perhaps this means a quieter night's sleep than on the street - only one lounge chair provided in a double room booking (nowhere for second person to... We spent 5 days in our apartment, which we mainly chose due to the really cheap price and great location. The apartment was very well, and modernly furnished and had everything we needed. The only two issues we had were that, firstly, it was slightly hard to find as it's not clearly sign posted. Secondly was the noise. This is... More

I really enjoyed my stay here as it was within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The place was well equipped with washing machine, hairdryer, TV and full kitchen. The accommodation was very clean and quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The corridors of the place are a little dark and gloomy, but if you press the... More

Excellent value for money. 2 adults, 13 and 10 year old in a 1bed apartment for a week. Lots of space including full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. We paid extra at the hotel for air conditioning. Centrally located, minutes from Basilica and lots of public transport. Be careful to use light switches with green centres otherwise you may... More

We stayed in a studio. It is spacious enough for 3 persons, even if is listed as a 2 persons room. Hotel is in a vary nice street and 15mins to city centre, 20mins walk to Donau. The walking path is also vary vary nice thru old part of town. Nice buildings and surroundings. Even if hotel is having more... More

For my first visit to Budapest I wanted something centrally located, but not too expensive. A friend recommended Opera Residence and I am so glad I followed that advice. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need even for a longer stay. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. They say on their web site that the nearest underground station... More

The Opera Residence is a great "value for money" option for even a short stay in Budapest. It is spacious, bright and clean with a small balcony facing onto a lively street with a choice of restaurants and bars. Yet it was really quiet at night as the bedroom faced towards the back of the building. The staff were really... More
