Not near the city center that is in Pest - but close to my place of work at time, so ok for me. Not horribly long from the center anyway - may be 25 min of walking. No wireless in rooms - but wired Internet at the desk in room. Good connection! I bought an upgraded room - Superior -... more

Quite large room with view on Danube. Parking secured by the hotel (costs though something like 15€). Booked on Internet so price was quite good for the value. For breakfast, you have 2 choices : full buffet for 23€ or citybreakfrast for 8€. I took the city breakfast and for me, it was ok (coffee/tea, fruit salad/juice and some bread/croissants... more

THE PROS: The hotel is modern, clean and fresh looking. The staff is relatively friendly, but not very knowledgeable as far as giving tourist info of any value. Loved all the green concious elements. One drawback: Asked the front desk for a Authentic Hungarian restaurant and not to expensive. Their recommendation was totally the opposite when we arrived at... more

When looking for a hotel in Budapest it's diffucult to know exactly where a good location in the city is. From this hotel you have an excellent view over Danube and the parliament and the walking distance to the main shopping streets are about 20 minutes. Actually we visited a nice and traditional hungarian restaurant with great and affordable food... more

Novotel Budapest Danube is an excellent hotel on the Buda side. We spent 2 nights at this hotel and our stay was absolutely comfortable. The rooms are clean and service is good. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great. This hotel is in the city centre and facing the beautiful Parliament. The famous Chai Bridge is just a... more
